The purpose of this safe is to keep our guns out of the hands of our children. This safe serves that purpose to create an inaccessible and secure environment. Easy to setup and program. One annoying thing is that every time I open the are, the “door” covering the emergency keyhole falls off.

This gun locker is good, has a fast fingerprint reader, pretty easy to operate and setup. The sheet metal is textured giving a real Safe look, way better than the product picture. Realistically will tightly fit 4 rifles without attachments. Very good choice for the price. If you want a real Safe you have to spend $1000+. All the 1 star reviews don't understand this fact.

Honestly I was really pissed bc I looked through all the reviews and bot prices. This safe is nice don't get me wring. But my Hubby put in the fingerprint and all was good. Until I went to the safe and put my fingerprint on and it worked. We thought maybe it was a glitch so we reset everything. We tried it again and both of ours worked. That should not happeni never put mine. I want to return it but I think it will be very expensive bc of shipping.

The safe is ok, but isn’t for a AR-15 as t all. Doesn’t fit with my scope on it inside the safe. It’s good for my shotgun and handguns on top. The shelve isn’t covered with the inside layer of the felt. Also setting up code and finger print is pretty easy. Nice safe for the price, but also the light isn’t bright enough.

This is not the most impenetrable gun safe on the market, but at this price point you wouldn't expect to need ex***sives to get past the security features. I imagine that any safe, even a giant bank vault could be broken into given the right amount of time and tools. This safe does what most of us want a gun safe to do... it makes it nearly impossible for kids and intruders to get their hands on our weapons without alerting us to their attempts, and needing a bunch of time alone with the safe to do so. I am especially impressed on how well the fingerprint detection works, which can be life saving in the sorts of emergencies in which a firearm might be employed. Most fingerprint detection takes more than a few attempts to open a lock, but this one seems to work first time, every time. The safe also features provisions for opening the lock with a number combo, and comes with a battery pack that can power the lock and biometrics in the case of a dead battery. It also has a small work light that comes on when the door is successfully opened, similar to a car's dome light, or the light in your refrigerator (although a little dimmer). This safe even comes with a set of keys and a hidden lock tumbler just in case all else fails.

Dimensions and pictures are not misleading, but it is indeed smaller than expected. The pistol part at the top fits a full size p320 with flashlight and scope but you would have to twist it to take it out, and the width makes it challenging to add more full size pistols with flashlights. The side holders will not fit guns with flashlights, can barely fit a 50 ammo cci blazer 9mm pack. There was scratches around the safe and the LED on the one I received wasn't working. However it unlocks fine, its secure, easy access, I would only recommend if you are looking to store normal items with maybe 1 or 2 fully kitted full size guns. I would not recommend this as a main gun safe it does not hold that much.
