Simple well built ionizer
I had an old EcoSmart ionizer (2006) that failed due to a circuit board burnout. Called EcoSmart and found out they do not have that circuit board replacement and had no recommendation for a replacement. Looked around the internet at other ionizers and found the sunshine ionizer. I Like the fact that it had really big copper electrodes. The only problem with installation was I had to build a custom PVC fitting to attach it to my pool plumbing. Once I got it installed it worked like a champ. Clear water the next day. The only problem is I think it's working a little too well. The copper level is very high. I brought extra copper electrodes so I won't be needing replacement copper for the next few years. Very happy with the product.

Direct replacement. Easy to install.
This was a direct replacement for my Sunshine Ionizer. It fit perfectly. I had used my other electrodes for three seasons, and they no longer worked.
