Easy Install
Easy install, works perfect. Our pool has never been clearer and are only using a little bit of chlorine from our in-line chlorinator. Just have to remember to switch the polarity switch weekly.

Not what I expected, not professionally manufactured.
The instructions say the pool should be balanced before use of this product. It took over a month to get the pool balanced, by that time the window to return is closed. In looking at the instructions (which is for an in ground pool) NOT an above ground pool which is what I have. If we installed it, the wiring for this product is exposed and the possibility of it getting wet could short out the electrical to my pool. If it could’ve reached the electric source, which it couldn’t.I want my money back it is not what I expected.

I have purchased many of these to install in both pools and spas. Ionizer works well and the anode lasts as long as another. Kit comes complete and shipping is reliable.

My installer highly recommended this over a salt pool and chlorine electrodes
My installer highly recommended this over a salt pool and chlorine electrodes. We put in a fiberglass pool 5 seasons ago and I have never added chlorine to the pool other than a gallon of shock once every couple weeks unless we have a heavy load, then I’ll shock it after everyone goes home. Always crystal clear water. After 5 years, it’s rime for new copper electroids. There worn down to a nub. Replacement is kinda expensive but if you figure over 5 years, it averages about $25 a year. Pretty cheap considering I never have to buy or monitor chlorine levels.I can only speak for the fiberglass pools but this system is a no brainer. It cost me less then $20 a season for shock and the electricity to keep the pump going 12 hours a day. Here in the Midwest, I might have to add a little acid after a heavy rain to keep PH in check but that is less then a half gallon a year.We used to have an above ground pool that would require a total of maintenance every week to keep the water from going green or cloudy. Always buying and running out of chlorine tabs, not cheap anymore. The only real maintenance now is rinsing the filter once a month and keeping the leaves, grass etc swept out of the pool.
