This mousse has been perfect for my daughter. It defines her curls without weighing them down and keeps them soft all day. You only need a quarter size amount so the bottle lasts a long time. It is easy to use, smells nice, and gives great results. I would definitely buy it again.

Great for natural hair.

The quality of this product is the best that I have tried thus far. The price is very reasonable. I purchased this product just to try it out with the expectation that I would most likely return it as I have five other brands of the same type sruff. My 4C hair is dry and coarse so I am pleasantly surprised on how well this product softens and moistures my hair. It's a no brainer that I decided to keep it because it is that good. Its bitter sweet, I didn't want to spend the money but I'm glad it did.

The Design Essentials Almond & Avocado Curl product smells great and feels nice when applied. It helps define curls and adds some softness, but my hair still feels dry even after regular use. A good product overall, but I may need to pair it with something more hydrating for my hair type.

The picture with my glasses on is my hair with no product. My hair is very prone to frizz and gets weighed down easily but this products works wonders. It defines my curls/waves so nicely ,makes my hair shine, creates a nice cast, doesn't make my hair feel stiff , smells wonderful, and doesn't smell too strong. LOVE IT!

I can honestly say, of the dozens of hair products I have tried, I’ve never reviewed one before! This mousse is amazing. I have mixed texture curls, 2c-3b. I’m usually prone to frizz and dryness but this mousse hydrated my hair so well and does not feel heavy or greasy. I sealed it all in with the custard and even that didn’t weigh my hair down. I’ve spent so much time and money on curl products and have never loved any. I FINALLY found one that I’ll buy again!

I have 2C curls and the sides get very frizzy if I don’t use any product. I love my Aveda curl controller but it leaves my hair crunchy. The fragrance is ok. It comes out as foam rather than sticky gel so easy to use. I’m trying different amounts and have found 2 pumps each side is about right. Cost seems reasonable.

Ok - but not what I was searching for - doesn't "enhance" natural curl.... I have naturally wavy hair that, with the right product, can become beautiful, long lasting, loose CURLS. For years I used ABBA Pure Curl Finnish. That product was sold and the new formula - ABBA Curl Finish - isn't at all like the original, but it will still kinda work. I have been searching for a product that works similarly to the original ABBA Pure Curl Finish. When used I used ABBA Pure Curl Finish on damp hair, I could either blow=dry with diffuser OR scrunch dry for curls. I cam still use the newer ABBA product, but it just is not a great at the original. I just tried this product. I used on damp hair and scrunched AND diffused dry. It looked great at first, but within 30 minutes the curls were falling out. I will not purchase again. It smelled fine, and my hair feels soft, but the advertising that says, "curl enhancement" isn't a definition I relate to in the context this product results. I certainly did not have "defined curls". What this product did was give an ok looking style (not too much volume with this product, either) and no curls at all within a couple of hours. I'll keep searching!

Really good product BUT price is double what other Retailers are charging so cannot afford to buy again

I am super particular with the products I use in my hair and super particular in the texture it leaves. I’ve only used this product twice (this photo is of my day two hair, I was even more obsessed with my day one hair.. my curls were so big, soft, and bouncy)... and I can definitely say I will be buying this product again!! For reference, I did diffuse my hair. I also tried it on my sister, who prefers to air dry her hair (she’s got 2b/2c curls)—it dried well and really defined her natural curl! The scent of the product isn’t overwhelming, which is nice. At first I felt like it was going to leave my hair looking oily, but once it was totally dry my curls were just soft and bouncy. This mouse definitely tamed some of my frizz.. though I’m one of those weirdos that doesn’t mind a little frizz! Haha Overall, excellent curly hair products and will be recommending to my curly hair friends!
