I bought this globe as a Christmas gift for my four siblings. The cardinals represent visits from family that has passed away. It is a simple inexpensive gift. It is not very fancy. They all loved it. One note: it is not a musical item. It is packaged in a box that says musical on it. It was confusing to one sibling.

This snow globe is really a very wonderful item. I like it very much because the wonderful winter landscape - consisting of trees and snow and complemented by the wonderful birds - creates an inviting atmosphere. I use this beautiful item to decorate my living room.
