Skeptical but gave it a go….better than the OEM
I had a need to replace my OEM garage door keypad from Liftmaster as the keypad had become non-responsive. This was the second time I needed to replace this in the 6 years since installation. In both instances the keypad had become less and less responsive over time. Before buying this unit I looked into the cost of the OEM replacement on Amazon and it was approximately $50. To me that was quite expensive especially as it appeared the unit wouldn’t last for that long. After a little research I opted for this unit based on >800 reviews and roughly 4.5 star rating. My experience of the install was great. Took me less than 5 minutes for the install including detachment of the defective old unit. I think the instructions were pretty clear. In my case on my Liftmaster motor unit on the garage ceiling there was a “learn” button that had to be pressed following activation of the new keypad. I found this process to take no more than 30 seconds and the unit was paired. I then lifted the front panel of the old defunct unit and removed the battery and unscrewed it to allow detachment from the frame of my garage door. I took the new unit that is previously paired, removed the battery then situated in exactly the same manner as the non functioning old unit. I found that the alignment was perfect so I just used the OEM screw id previously removed to screw the new unit to the garage door frame l, put the battery back in, cover back on and then entered my passcode to test door closure then pressed enter again to reopen. The unit worked perfectly. In terms of quality I’d say the plastic gauge is thicker than the original and feels high quality. I personally think it will be as robust as the original if not more so. A feature that I think is a big improvement over the original is that when the code is entered there is an audible beep sound, on the OEM you don’t hear this so the keys I think get pressed harder “to be sure” that the keys are activated and I think that this in turn leads to the keypad failing over time. As consequence I think the ability to hear a key being pressed will actually contribute to the longevity of this unit. The keypad is also backlit but instead of a yellow backlighting this units is redder and I think easier to see in the bright sunshine as well as at night.Overall I’m very pleased I didn’t spend the extra $30 for the OEM and think this a better value and an improvement on that. If this unit lasts only 3 years like the OEM as at $20 it’s a bargain; I’d say though that I’m optimistic it’ll last for at least five if not more. A good buy folks….highly recommend.

Ridiculously easy to install and set up.
I think my old one was 20 to 25 years old. The keys were sticking, it would often just get reprogrammed/ stopWorking … so it’s time to replace it. I took us five minutes to pull the old one off the wall and put the new one on. They were also the exact same outside size. So the wall looks the same, no touch up paint needed. Took 10Mins or less reprogram the door. Two women who work at a desk… Easy install, and easy programming. No idea why I waited so long. (Note: I ordered the same brand as the old one. The fact that it lasted 25 years and still kind of worked is also a testament to this product. I’m sure it’s not the same product anymore on the inside, but the price is right and if I have to replace it again, it’s inexpensive and easy)

Works great!
When I ordered this Remote Opener, I thought it was a Genie opener but when I received it, it was a 3rd party brand. I installed it to replace the old Genie opener. We had had many problems with the Genie. We would need to remove the batteries from time to time and put them back in in order to open the door. This one installed easy and works great! Much better than the Genie. I will be buying another one to replace the Genie on the other garage door that doesn’t work.

Decent with one flaw - be careful setting the coding!
Had to program this product a couple of times to get it right. Had to do without it a couple of days and even leave the house through the regular door. My last garage door opener: when I got in the garage all I had to do was hit the ENTER button and it would close. Now, I have to hit the entire code before it will close. It's tough to see the numbers in the dark and at that height so I close it at the other door. GD

Budget Friendly Garage Door Keypad
Overall install was easy, quick, and connected quickly to my garage opener (Overhead Door Legacy 650). One big "feature" that I like, is that it emits an auditory sound every time a button is pressed. My neighbor liked that feature so much, they even changed theirs out as well. Another big thing I like about this is that the price was very budget friendly.

Great replacement but minor error in instructions
My old keypad was no longer functioning on several buttons and more or less unuseable. Got this up and running within a few minutes (after a correction noted below). This remote case itself feels more substantial than the previous liftmaster keypad I had. I like that the unit beeps after a button push so in daylight it should be clear when entering code. One issue - the instructions were not quite correct for me to match the keypad with my Garage door opener. The instructions noted a single enter button to be pushed if you have a yellow light on the unit.In my case this did not work. I saw in the fine print the instructions listed the dates of manufacture of the opener, to correlate to number of times to push the enter button. Luckily my opener had its manufacturing date visible, so I used that criteria, even though the bulb color as presented in the remote instructions was wrong. That did the trick and I was able to match the keypad and opener unit. This still was a quick installation once I found the right info, I'm really happy with the remote.

Challenging to program. no Branding or mfg ID.
This item looks to be a Genie nock off. No branding. No brand id on the instructions. No customer service info on how together help programming. no date of mfg. no place of mfg.Took some doing and trial and error to get it programmed. Instructions different than what was written under the cover. Use the under cover instructions. Might want to consider spending more and avoiding the issues. Time is precious.

Peace of mind
After locking ourselves out of the house, we decided it was time to get a wireless garage door opener. Works like a charm and no more worries about getting locked out! We are electronically challenged :), so we had a professional install ours, but he said that it was easy to do. It only took him about 5 minutes. Gives some peace of mind.
