Great shoe.
Broke them in today, took about four hours of use to stop feeling like my great toe was being crushed. Once broken in they fit great. These are close to a minimalist shoe so if you are switching from the thick soled running shoe they will feel alot different and you may need to change the way you run. Also thinner solid sole prevents odd deformation which can cause foot and shin problems when running. My foot is 11" from tip of toe to heel and I just fit in size 11. If your foot is much longer you may need to go up a half size. May account for all the reviews about sized small. Still very light and comfortable, great shoe.

and I wear them for disc golf where I need great, comfortable shoes
THEY RIPPED ON ME. Where the webbing and the front of the toes meet, the webbing ripped within a matter of two weeks. I'm still wearing them four months later, and I wear them for disc golf where I need great, comfortable shoes.I saw the reviews about how they were falling apart. I didn't believe them because I have never had a bad product from NB until now. If they can fix the webbing tearing at the toes however, I'd buy 50 more pairs. That is how comfortable these shoes fit.I wear a 14 4E with New Balance, and when I first put them on, I wasn't so sure about them. It felt like the toes were too squished. Against my first reactions, I kept them. The next day, they felt much better. I can't remember a more comfortable shoe.

Comfortable, but ripped after one month!
Great shoe, but I only had it for a month and the front ripped. I don't do anything beyond walk in it. I am very careful to keep my shoes clean. What a disappointment.

More comfortable than anticipated
I've been wearing New Balance for I don't know how many years, specifically the Trail series running shoes. I'm a fan of New Balance because they're one of the very few athletic shoes available in a wide size. I honestly selected this model, a departure from the Trail series, because I liked the color combination. The one aspect I wasn't sure about was the 4mm heel-to-toe ratio. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of this shoe and the 4mm heel-to-toe ration seems to result in a more natural footfall walking experience. Also, in spite of their minimalist styling, they do feel very supportive of my size (6'2", 265#). I’m very glad I purchased this model.

Finally a good looking wide shoe with a neutral sole! I love these shoes!
I was skeptical of the shoe because within the past few years New Balance has changed the sizing on their shoes. I have a 12 4E and lately it has been exceedingly difficult to find a stylish pair of shoes that fit. Oh, there are the models that look awful and lack style but who wants to wear those. I am outdoors a lot and like the extra durability of outdoor shoes so when I saw these I was hopeful. The first pair I got was damaged so I had to send them back because a tie loop was not stitched and left lose. So I quickly got a new pair sent back to me in a day.I tried them on and was immediately relieved and pleased at how well they fit. Wow, these are a comfortable pair of shoes! I have a really big foot with a 4E width and a high instep. So I was ecstatic these fit so well. The shoe is very minimal in material and inside padding. The shoe has a very breathable material but seems very tough as well. The sole is not that thick but padded very well. The bottom is Vibram so thats a wonderful add on and it's tread has lots of grip! The shoe feels amazing while wearing it and laces up wonderfully. The sole is a bit different if you are use to a running shoe. I was wearing the Leadville New Balance before this so it was a pretty big difference because these are neutral and even across the sole.I was SO PLEASED these do not have the hard pronation foam feature built into the sole. I hate shoes that have that in the sole since I have a Neutral stance. Shoes with the pronation feature built into the inside of the shoe I simply cant stand. I quickly wear out the outside of the sole because it makes me slide to the outside of the shoe. I wish they would stop this but luckily these shoes are neutral and I love that!I broke these in the first day at a amusement park so they got a trial by fire with plenty of walking on hard surfaces all day and my feet felt great the entire time. I plan on buying a second and maybe third pair because these fit so well because it is so hard for me to find shoes.

More of a running shoe than a multi-sport shoe.
The shoe is about a half size smaller than previous NB shoes of this size that I have worn for years. The shoe provides good support but is very light. I would not classify it as a multi-sport shoe. The sole is barely heavy enough with marginal cushioning to be multi-sport, but to me, the upper is very light and is more characteristic of a straight-up, lightweight running shoe. Quality and workmanship are OK but there are obvious differences between the right and left shoes in terms of how things were sewn together alignment wise. Fit is acceptable with good support for the arch; a little less for the heel; typical of running shoes. Since I got them on sale at an excellent price, they get 3 stars, and we'll see how well they last. I would probably have returned them if I had purchased at full price.
