Great, wish they had a triple input/single output version
I bought this to connect some older monitors into my work from home setup. The monitors only had one VGA and one DVI in, and I had 3 PCs to connect, so I needed a solution that would give me more inputs.I found this product, and gave it a try. They work great! I used some double-sided adhesive to mount them on the back of the monitors, connected the cables, and it just worked.Overall, their construction is good. They aren’t terribly heavy, so I would recommend securing them to either your desk or monitor, and the switch buttons are pretty simple, so don’t slap them too hard, and they should work just fine. Build quality is good, they just used fairly cheap materials. If you have an older monitor that just needs the extra inputs, this is a great solution - I just wish they had a model that had 3 inputs to a single output, then I could use just a single switch box!

Great product if you have one monitor and 2 CPUs
There probably aren't many people still using DVI-only monitors and/or desktops without HDMI. But, if you're one of them and you need a single monitor for two CPUs, this device works. Usually. About once in 20 "switches" I get an error, which I can clear by powering off the monitor for about one second. I'm actually thrilled with the performance of this device, as my expectations were low. That said, you can buy a switch for HDMI, which will work with DVI devices provided that you have one or more DVI/HDMI adapter cables.

Excellent product - most cost effective way to manage multiple inputs
I got these switches because I wanted a simple way to use the same monitors for two different computers without springing for a full-fledged (and more expensive) KVM switch. They work great and they're simple. The fact that they're unpowered is also a big plus.I purchased two of these switches, one for each of my monitors. I also had to purchase a separate USB switch for my mouse and keyboard. On the upside, this configuration was much cheaper than a >$100 KVM switch. On the downside, I have to press three buttons to fully switch over instead of just one, and a true KVM switch would probably have less delay in switching between inputs. An interesting perk of my configuration, however, is that it is very easy for me to run one computer on each monitor when desired.

Works as it should
I wasn't thinking about it when I ordered it, because I just wanted this just to be able to share my desk monitor with a raspberry pi. But, as my main PC also doubles as my livingroom entertainment center, it actually turned out to be a more convenient way to switch default monitors! Bonus!!

An easy way to share a DVI monitor with a new HDMI-only computer. Works perfectly.
New Intel NUC Mini PC only has HDMI, my desktop PC's monitor is DVI and VGA. This is exactly the device I needed to avoid buying a new monitor, just for HDMI support. I made sure to also order two cables to provide the correct connections: AmazonBasics DVI to DVI Cable - 3 Feet (0.9 Meters); AmazonBasics HDMI Input to DVI Output Adapter Cable - 6 Feet (Latest Standard). Remember, the DVI spec does not support audio, like HDMI. The NUC has a common 3.5mm audio port which allowed me to connect a small powered speaker. This switch hooked up quickly, and it did exactly as was intended. Both computers have no troubles when switched. A great solution at a reasonable price.

Worked for a while
Worked fine for about 15 months with monitors switched twice a day, then started working intermittently with poor image quality. A thorough cleaning with DeoxIT did not fix the problem. So, it's another poorly made item off to the landfill..

Works fine every time
I needed to connect two computers to one monitor. I have used KVM switches in the past, but they seemed to "get out of sync" from time, and I needed to disconnect-remove power or ?? to fix it. It was a real nuisance. This time, I could not find any KVM switches on Amazon.com with DVI connectors, so bought this one. The "switch" has two push buttons, one for each computer, and I just push the appropriate button. The change is not instantaneous, but occurs in a second or so. When purchasing it, check to verify you have enough monitor cablesThere are no provision for switching the keyboard and and mouse, so I purchased a SGER 3.0 USB switcher for that purpose. It is another manual unit with two push buttons.
