I would feel a lot better about this product if I didn't feel tricked in the marketing. This product is just as pictured online. It creates a lovely, happy glow in a darkened room. The wood base is cheaply made, but it's fine, considering the $50 price tag ($40 would also be fair). The set comes with a warning to use a plate underneath it to protect your furniture. My beef is that it's sold as a lamp with massage stones, and this lamp does not create nearly enough heat to warm stones for use in my massage therapy practice. I'm a big fan of customer reviews in general — super helpful when you're buying products online — but for the first time, I'm suspicious that some of these "verified purchase" reviews were planted by the company. I just do not believe that people are massaging each other with room-temperature salt stones. Salt stones are getting to be quite trendy in the massage industry (and for good reason, because a salt stone massage is fabulous), but there are companies out there selling ridiculously overpriced warming lamps that look pretty much like this one. This is NOT worth "a few hundred dollars," as one "verified purchase" reviewer suggests (and coincidentally, did you know that competing companies are selling massage salt stone lamp warmers for $250-$500?).My plan is to go ahead and keep the lamp, because it is nice. I do like the dimmer switch. I will follow the advice of one of the reviewers who uses a heating pad to heat her stones for massage. I'm sure that will work fine — but frankly, if I had wanted the hassle of using a heating pad, I would have bought stones without the lamp to begin with.

This is not a lamp. The Himalayan Salt Fire Bowl (with Massage Balls) is a work of art! It radiates an amber glow that promotes a tranquil ambiance. The hand-crafted bowl does NOT look like something you'd pay 50 bucks for. I am not exaggerating... it looks like something you've paid a few hundred dollars for. It's classy, artsy, healthy (look into the benefits), affordable, and, honestly, it's fricking beautiful. I'll be buying a few of these around Christmas time!

Very beautiful and functional. However my fireball arrived broken. The packaging wasn't dented or damaged at all so it must've been broken when they shipped it.
