Effective magic for a sharp broken tooth
I managed to break off a sizable chunk of a pre-molar and promptly sliced my tongue when I used it to locate where that "tiny rock" in my mouth came from whilst flossing one Friday night. No dentist I'm aware of here on Earth works weekends so I was up to my own devices to solve the problem until I could get in and have a dentist fix it.There are many options, so I tried this as it's a relatively inexpensive solution. I also bought a more expensive option that required a knowledge of chemistry and sculpting skills... I was desperate. This package contains small plastic(?) beads you heat in hot water, then one squishes them together and stuffs the mass in the area needed. The first time I used too many beads and ended up with a large gob I ended up breaking in half and reheating to try again. You only need about 5 or 6 beads for half of a missing pre-molar (unless you have a really big mouth and teeth)I heat my water in the microwave and then use a spoon to set the beads in it. As soon as the beads turn clear you can squash them together and fix the problem. I recommend getting it in place and then biting down while still malleable so it meshes with teeth that will come into contact with it when you bite down/eat.I recommend a mirror as well. This works much like the old wax the orthodontist used to hand out, but better. It hardens and doesn't stick to food (unless it's hot). When hardened it turns white so it blends in well.I change out the plastic fix every morning and evening for sanitary reasons. As my broken tooth is in a tight spot I have to soften the plastic with a cup of hot tea and get creative pulling it out. (I will admit to using small needle nose craft pliers - don't judge. Also, don't yank. Get it heated well enough that it will slide out without resistance.)You could reuse the plastic by remelting it, but considering the price and the fact I want to keep the area clean, I throw it out and melt fresh beads each time.I should mention that eating hot foods will mush it around and create weird plastic flaps on the fix, which if you're like me, will drive you no short level of insane. I recommend chewing hot foods on the opposite side of your mouth. This has worked so well that I haven't tried the more expensive solution, and likely won't.I do recommend getting to a dentist ASAP as this isn't a permanent fix, but it works beautifully until you can and protects your tongue from getting shredded.

Not For Back Teeth
This product cannot be used to fix damaged teeth that are not right next to other teeth - in other words, if you have a cracked back molar, you can't use this. This was not made clear in the description on the package or here in the product info.Basically, you use this to make a fake tooth, then anchor it between 2 teeth.I gave it only 1 star because this was not made clear.

Works great!
I just got around to using these and I an extremely impressed! I had a few minutes to try them and if you follow the directions, you’ll be as amazed as i was. I have three teeth that need removed. They have been irritating the inside of my mouth for a while, so I tried this and it worked beautifully. The filling stays in, even while eating with those teeth. I get no more irritation and I’m really happy! I’ve tried the name brand stuff you get in stores, and it never worked. This is a must for anyone with broken or cracked teeth.

Works for me!
Follow directions and you will do well with making a temporary tooth or at least I did. Very easy to use and my plastic tooth cover has been effective.I have a broken upper tooth around the gum line that I am now covering with a plastic tooth. Wasn't ready to throw a few hundred dollars for a crown because I have a mouthful of crowns now. Thought I would try these thermoplastic beads and do a temporarily tooth cover. Of course, this is NOT healthy to be exposed to plastic in mouth, foods, water pipes, etc. But it's also not healthy or wise to have teeth x-rays every few months when experiencing teeth issues.Time will tell how long this temporary tooth will last. I remove the tooth when drinking hot liquids or eating foods.I have extra beads to make more temporary teeth so I got good value for money spent on these beads.

Great temporary solution
I broke a tooth while on vacation and found these and had them delivered next day. It took me a minute to figure out what I was doing but within 20 minutes, I figured it out. My whole family was impressed with how well this temporary solution worked. I was so thankful for it because otherwise I would’ve literally been missing a front bottom tooth all of Vacay. This definitely was a lifesaver. I ordered the bigger pack because I wanted to make sure I had enough but honestly, you only need the small one. But definitely worth the money and was a great temporary fix until I was able to go to the dentist.

It’s a plastic that stinks
I don’t really know how to feel about this product, I have a molar that I’d gotten a tooth canal on but never a crown. It cracked so I figured I’d put this on it to save it from breaking completely. After figuring out how many beads to use it’s not pliable so there’s no way to floss to make sure it’s only on that one tooth. I kept it in for a day and decided I needed to use even less beads. I took it out and my filling came out with it. So I decided to pack it the tooth, after a few days it smelled horrible. I’ve never had any odors so I was completely put off. It was definitely holding my tooth in place but the smell was something I couldn’t handle. I popped the product out and it smelled bad but only the product NOT my tooth or mouth. I want to put more in but I can’t have stank breath. Because I’m in another state I can’t get to my dentist to have any work done on it. If anyone knows of a product that won’t have an odor let me know.

Very cool, reusable plastic.
These little round plastic balls are cool. Put them in hot water. They melt, turn clear. I use them to put in my upper dentures to make it soft and comfortable. But it can be used for all kinds of other stuff. If you just buy a bag, you'll find things to do with it. And it's reusable, which is cool. What I like about this is it's cheap and you can. use it over and over again for a reline for your false teeth. I realign from the dentist can cost up to $200. Thank you.
