Decent paper for watercolor and gouache
This paper performs well with both watercolor and gouache. The colors blend smoothly and the paper does not warp easily. In comparison to Arches, Arches paper is more thirsty and has is a little rougher texture than Fluid 100. I like both papers as each handles the paint just a little differently. In my photo the color swatches on the left are gouache and the ones on the right are watercolor.

These are great!
I use these little blocks for about 40+ paintings each year. I appreciate the quality and texture of the paper.

Good paper but...
I purchased the 6×8 block. The paper has nice weight and a great surface. The only thing thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating is the glue used on two edges of the block. It's really difficult to remove the paper because the glue is so thick. I even used an agate blade burnisher so as not to mar the paper. Still a challenge. The glue also clings to the edges of the paper as shown in the photos, otherwise it's a nice paper.

Very hard to separate, nice paper.
Edit: So far I have torn 2 sheets even though I am trying to be very careful when removing a sheet. What is the secret to separating this paper? I am dropping a star this is ridiculous.I like the paper.( not so much now)I thought I would like the paper being in a block until I tried to separate it. I must not have read the reviews for this paper. I bought another size of the same type that was not block bound. I read those reviews. I was being very careful (yes the paper was dry) but in one spot I torn the paper, not much but it is noticeable. I then used something thinner (a postcard) between the next sheets to ever so slowly remove one side of it. That worked, so I am going to keep the rest of the paper now that I know how to separate it. Just be very, very careful when you remove each sheet.

Really nice watercolor paper
I really enjoyed painting on this paper. It’s a good quality, 100% cotton paper and it handled layering, lifting and both WOW and WOD methods. I like that the glued sides kept the paper nice and flat as it dried. All around, I’m happy with my purchase and I would buy from this company again.

Very good size for small sketches.
Because it is 100% cotton, it works well with watercolor.

A little disappointed...
It is not that easy to "lift" paint off as i had read, nor as scrubbable as I hoped. Arches or Fabriano Artistico are better on both those counts. It is however better than papers that are not 100% cotton.

You can’t lift colour after applied.
Average watercolor paper, good for practise.
