Nice Addition - Running The Cable Is Tedious
The media could not be loaded. The rear camera is fixed with an adhesive. The cables can be run around the passenger side of the vehicle under cloth panels and over short pieces of plastic – depending on your vehicle. The running of the cable is the most time consuming and annoying. I suggest getting a professional to install it.. In my Toyota, I used a screwdriver to pull the cloth covering on the roof and the sides of the front and then down the side seal and behind the glove compartment. There are a few YOUTUBE videos showing how to install the cables. I used a few small sticky cable holders when the cable ran over the plastic surfaces. As shown in the photo and video (sorry, I was installing the camera but wanted to show the angle while I was working with it), the quality is very good with a wide angle. It adapts to all light conditions. If your car is severely bumped, the front (or rear) camera ‘might’ pick up the license plate. There is plenty of wire to place the rear camera anywhere - but that is the problem. I had to wrap up a few feet of wire with ties and tuck in in the rear corner of my interior. It would have been nice to have a connector that you could adjust for length. While using both cameras, the monitor will show the rear camera in the upper left quadrant OR the entire screen - however you want to set it.

Cable too short - so seller replaced camera and cable. Overwhelmed with such great support!
Cable isn't long enough for a Hyundai Santa Fe (needs an extra 4 feet). I used an extension cable, which are like hen's teeth to find, because the adapter size is mini-USB rather than Micro. Plug that in, both front and rear cameras show power, but the front camera no longer records. It is probably the extension I purchased, but there is no other route through the Hyundai that's shorter.So.. I can't tell if the camera works or not. I'll update the review if I find an extension that actually works.Update May 2018. The original rating was 2-stars, but I've upgraded that to 5-stars based on their after-sales service. The seller contacted me direct, and enquired about the length, because they said that it should be long enough. I explained that the cable run paths used in the Hyundai go down the A-pillar, along the footwell, and then up the C-pillar. A direct line through the ceiling would be long enough, but even Hyundai don't do that. The seller accepted this explanation, and - at their own expense - built a camera with a cable that is an extra 4 feet long. Superlative customer service - can't say enough good things about them now. And the camera works perfectly!

The media could not be loaded. Pros:-to be paired with the Keeken N56 front car dash mount-discrete design-can adjust angle-comes with 3m adhesive, but no glass residue guard-doesn't require a separate a separate power cord-comes with long cable-wide angle lensCons:-a little pricey-no night vision capability
