2025 world almanac: indispensible thourough reference.
An indispensible look-up reference work, packed with an astounding amount of data on popuilation (including celebrities birth places and year of birth), election results (in this volume for the 2024 election), financial data, state & nations statistics, sports data, and on and on.. Yes, one can find such things on line, but I find t his faster and more conventient, especiallty when doing crossword puzzles.

ACCURACY IS IMPORTANT
I've been reading this publication since 1982, and the world has changed with it. However, this edition for the first time, doesn't seem to include business industry leaders in corporations, and the Area Codes no longer identify a specific area in a specific state (except those of New Hampshire or Vermont) which I miss. I assume people now text or email for a response. I'll save The 2024 addition if I wish to make contact with that company or individual. There is no President of Spain (The Country has a King and Prime Minister noted in history text), and this as appeared in this edition and the last (2024), Head of Government Title of one country is in regular text and should be in bold text. Toms River, New Jersey has more than one Zip Code and an Asterisk needs to be added. Otherwise, a good reference book for all.

My go to reference. I love the hardcover, large format! A non-Internet treasure!
I have been buying these for years including the paperback version and vintage editions from years past. Last year (2024) I finally sprung for the hardcover edition and now I am hooked! The advantage of the hardcover are durability, lays pretty flat, and easier to read. The color sections including Year in Pictures, Farewell, Sports, Flags, and Maps, are excellent and nicely printed. This version has most of the 2024 Election Results (USA) which is possibly the reason driving the timing of the publication. I plan to keep on purchasing these for as long as I can, as an essential reference of durable information, especially in the Internet age! 100 percent pleased and happy, once again, with this product! One tip: use 4 or 5 stiff paper bookmarks for ready access to pertinent sections without installing page tabs.
