I have tried several different brands of liner socks--including some from famous designers--and without exception they all lose their grip on my heel and slide down under my arch. Even the ones with a heel-gripper feature have done that. These liner socks from Sperry stay put. They have outperformed all the rest.

I have had issues with different boat shoe socks sliding down off my heel. These ones stay nicely on my feet with no problems. I wear shoe size 10 1/2 Based on the comments of other reviewers; your milage may vary, but these work great for me!

I like how soft and comfortable they are but after I washed and put in the dryer, they were all ruined. The elastic washed destroyed and now they won’t stay on my feet at all. Either be careful washing then lay out to dry, use a garment bag or order a different sock.

A bit lose around the foot but overall works great if you want the no socks look but some moisture absorbtion and friction protection. Can't imagine replacing my sports no show socks (using athletic shoes) with it though. Will not hold strong enough for anything more than lounging with boat shoes or pinch weekender shoes. Also definitely not for walking around the house as mentioned, will not hold tightly enough.

These are good quality but are not meant for loafer shoes which is what I bought them for. Loafer / boat shoes are a low and show more of the top of your foot and these socks are still visible which is no good. I'm a size 10.5 and even though these socks are for size 6-12 or so, they still bunch up and protrude from the back of the shoe. Maybe these are better for like a size 12 foot where they'll stretch and show less.

I love 2 out of the 3 pairs I got. Unfortunately, one pair arrived with holes in the socks, and I needed them that week-end for an event, so I couldn't resend the whole package.

They should make a bunch of different sizes because it doesn't stay on for me. I am size 9 US and it keeps coming off.

These are very soft and comfortable. I bought the men's liner socks as some reviewers of the women's sizes stated that those were too skimpy and that they came off their feet inside their shoes.
