Worked great for easing aches and pains, well made, easy to install, fits the lazy boy perfectly, and stays in place. Purchased this for my 93 year old parent who said it brought tremendous comfort after only one days use so I've now purchased the bed size one for him as well. I also tried it and found it to increase the comfort of an old recliner perfectly and relieved my aches and pains as well after just a few hours use during the day and transfering it to my bed for one night's sleep. I liked it so much that I am purchasing a second recliner size one for me. (Although transfering it from the recliner to the bed is easy and fast I opted to buy him the one for the bed so that I could keep the recliner one under a reliner cover so that the room looks more pleasant for him as this is where he spends most of his time and I won't have to move it back and forth each day)

It really works!!! I got it to help my mom with pressure wounds, including a sacral ulcer. It alternates the pressure to simulate movement, and she's healing faster because of it.

My mom was resorting to sleeping in a recliner due to severe pain issues. While we are working dealing with those issues so we can get her back to comfortably sleeping in bed, she started to develop a pressure ulcer. I immediately started searching for something to help her out while she was in the recliner and this seemed like a great product and an affordable option to try. And I was able to return it if she didn't like it, and my mom is in a lot of pain, so I wasn't sure she would like it. It arrived the next day, was easy to set up and fit her recliner well. She really had no adjustment period and is able to tolerate the alternating pressure right from the start, but that would depend on each person. She has it on every time she is in the recliner. I showed this product to the doctor at the wound clinic and she thought it was great, along with getting a gel cushion for any other chair she would sit in, such as the dining room chair. Her pressure sore has greatly improved with treatment and all of these changes in the last 2 weeks. For anyone who needs to spend any length of time in a recliner, I highly recommend getting this to prevent this from happening in the first place. It really is a great investment!

If it would stay put on my slippery vinyl recliner I'd give it 5 stars. Even with anchor straps the law of physics prevails and the cushion slips down every time I sit... just far enough so my heels step on it. But it really helps keep pressure ulcers at bay... it's more preventative than cure but allows prolonged sitting without further aggravation to sensitive areas. Keeping in mind that simply getting up and walking around for a few minutes every hour in combination with using this pad gradually gives offers relief and considerable improvement. The inflation firmness is adjustable, it runs silently, and feels comfortable. A word of caution if you are a cat parent... when not actually sitting on it yourself be sure to keep it covered with a thick blanket or rug to avoid claw punctures. Wherever I sit seems desirable to my cat and the race is on to get there first. Highly recommend and would buy this again.

I think it may do the job of preventing pressure sores , not long enough yet to be sure. However, it is very uncomfortable, it definitely needs to have another softer cover to fit over it. Many patients that need this product also have very fragile skin and are very sensitive to pressure. Also some people will react to the material of that cover without something else over it. Even if at an additional cost a more comfortable cover should be offered as an option.
