Do yourself a favor and order a different brand of this type of couch. I read the reviews that said it was difficult to inflate, but all the versions of this thing have those same reviews and many say that when you get the hang of it, it's easy. I watched a few videos to see how it's done and decided to go for it. Here's the problem - this thing is cheaply designed. All of these couches have two sides that you need to inflate separately. In order to do this without a fan, there is boning in the end of the bag to hold it open while you scoop the air in. In the videos you can see that the divider between the two sides also has boning so it's easy to hold one side open while the other stays closed. This version does not have that boning in the divider so it's nearly impossible to even hold one side open, let alone keep one sealed while you scoop air into the other side. The loose divider was actually keeping the air from going in, it was frustrating and annoying. If you have a fan or wind, you'll probably be ok, but that sort of defeats the purpose of a portable lounger. Wish I had tried this earlier so I could still return it and get a proper one.

Got it for the nieces, but they had troubles filling it up by simply running with it. That doesn't stop them from enjoying it when they fill it up with a fan, but they have to have electricity to do that. Maybe they just have to have friends that run a little faster than they do? :D I didn't see the exact process of running to fill it up, so I can't comment on that, only on their comments. That's why I'm giving it a 4 star rating.

Oh my goodness. How can I pump this thing up! I’ve ran through my yard and spun in fast circles looking like an IDIOT in the front yard and it wouldnt fill up!? Lol someone help!!!!!!I really think the quality will be great if it just can get air in it!

It’s super hard to inflate in the beginning but once you get the hang of it its easy.
