XL twin fits great on dorm beds
The XL twin fit very well on our college student's dorm bed mattress. This was at Emerson College, Boston. The dorm bed mattresses are covered with some thick plastic so you need a mattress pad along with a fitted sheet to not feel like you are sleeping on a pleather couch.
