Philips LED Classic 4.6 W GU10 Glass LED Spot Light (Replacement for 50 W Halogen Spot) - Warm White

I have just installed these to replace eight halogens in my kitchen and six in my converted garage. I tried one at first along side the good quality halogens that give a lovely warm light and there was no difference, even the wife said there was no difference. So I swapped them all over and am very pleased with the quality of light- very bright and warm. I've had led spots in the past and vowed that i would never use them again because of the awful light given off - they made our kitchen look green and people in the room look very unwell.

It has very good luminosity, much better than other Chinese bulbs that promise you more lumens but in the end they break quickly, flicker, etc. At the moment they don't give me a headache. The light is neutral, it may be a little more yellow than some but in my case I have gotten used to it and I think it is the best.

Being a Philips branded bulb these are very good quality but I did think they were a little overpriced. Had to buy this pair of bulbs as I had to replace a total of 22 50w halogen bulbs in a house we have just moved into. I was able to get a good deal on a two boxes of 10 but needed another two so got these so in compassion they were a bit overpriced even for the name brand. They are of course being LED and under 5w vastly superior in energy efficiency when compared to the halogens that were using 90% more power so really a no brainer swapping over to LEDs but for spotlights LEDs are also much safer as they produce less than half of the heat of halogens. Unfortunately I learnt that the hard way as one of our downlighters running a halogen bulb actually went on fire due to the 200 degrees centigrade plus heat.... also didn't help that the previous owner had 22 50 w bulbs running of a single 5 amp fuse that was actually a pre-blown fuse that he had wrapped the outside of it with thick solid core wire.... but that's another story. So as I say the LEDs are much safer in this respect. I cannot speak in regards to longevity of these particular LED bulbs but the LED bulbs in general will last a long time. The light produced is bright but not a stark white a nice warm white that is pleasant.

Used these to replace 50w halogen 6mths ago. Equivalent light colour and brightness to the halogens. One bulb started buzzing after about 4 months, though others are fine. Replaced with another of the same bulb, which is still fine, so maybe one-off problem.

Bought these to replace inefficient halogen spot lights that came with extractor hood fan setup in my kitchen above the hob. The previous halogen bulbs were complete energy leeches and ran too hot, you could feel the heat they gave off more than a feet away. These new Philips LED bulbs give out the same amount of light for a fraction of the power usage and its practically a straight swap without the huge energy bill and heat output. Highly recommend.

Ho acquistato 4 faretti come questo per un lampadario della mia camera da letto. Il brand Philips nei prodotti legati all'illuminazione domestica è da ritenersi uno standard per la qualità della fabbricazione e della durata dei loro prodotti. La potenza della luce emessa è molto buona, e permette di illuminare molto bene la stanza. Un validissimo sostituto ai classici faretti alogeni; essendo a led diminuiranno sicuramente il consumo energetico e la temperatura erogata, garantendo però le stesse prestazioni in termini di luminosità. Normalmente però questo tipo di faretto tende a perdere sempre più potenza negli anni, quindi vedremo se con il tempo succederà. Consiglio il prodotto come scritto nel titolo per l'illuminazione di camere da letto e soggiorni, in quanto in questi casi la luce calda che viene emessa, darà una buona impressione di accoglienza all'ambiente.

Il faretto doveva rimpiazzare un faretto tradizionale. Luminosità ok. Colore ok. Durata non saprei, non è ancora bruciato.. non sono prodotti a buon mercato, specialmente se si sta su questo brand. Ma già alla vista la qualità sembra molto buona.

C’est toujours la roulette russe de commander des ampoules sur Amazon mais ce produit est parfait. L’eclairage est aussi bon voir légèrement meilleur qu’une ampoule halogène classique. La couleur est tout petit peu plus jaune mais vous ne le verrez qu’en fixant l’ampoule sinon pas de différence visible une fois sur le plafonnier ! Phillips original dans emballage identique grande distribution. À commander les yeux fermés !
