I have another remote that operates on the same frequency, 433.92MHz, and my intention was to add this remote as a backup. Unfortunately, this new Came TOP 43XEV remote won't programme, in either "SX" or "DX" mode (24 bit or 12 bit). The instructions tell you to prime the new remote by holding both buttons for 5 seconds then picking one of the buttons, then within 10s holding the existing remote close, pressing its button a few times to capture the code into the new remote. All good in theory, but no joy in practice. So I will have to send this product back. Perhaps it'll work for you!

The remote seems to be well made out of good quality plastic, it has a loop to attach it if you cannot use the built in keyring hole for any reason. The unit requires that you have a working fob to be able to copy the codes off of. The copying process is well described and pretty straight forward to complete. It may well be compatible with other 433.92 Mhz remotes but I have no way of testing this. The CR2016 button cell is easy to replace by sliding of the battery cover.

I was very pleased to receive this product, at the time I received it, it was priced at £9.99 and I consider this to be good value for money.This remote fob works really as good as the original but was far cheaper. Very easy to program and a great replacement to the CAME one. I do have other remotes which work on a different frequency and they are not compatible - so be careful to get the right one!I recommend this product.

I found this device easy to set up, but do have concerns about its longevity. It looks and feels cheap and I do have problems with the buttons that seem to be hit-and-miss. Push the buttons at the right angle and they work, but I found that rarely happens first time.

Already have a CAME original fob which is getting a bit old, so thought I'd see how this one would work.Looks exactly the same as my original - though has Made In Italy on the back (despite arriivng in a box saying Made in China).Instructions are concise but clear, and I managed to program it very quickly and confirmed it works with door.Comes with a small lanyard type wire.It works and is not expensive, so a Yes from me. Battery is meant to be replaceable also.
