Nice quality. Wish I had paid more attention when I ordered this. It does not reach stud-to-stud if one is trying to mount it horizontally. But, that was my fault and it worked out by using a 2x4 to bolt to a few studs and then screw this to the 2x4. I assume this bar was intended to be mounted at an angle, but I needed it in my grandfather's bathroom to help him get to the other side of the room.

The grab bar had a good finish. Unfortunately, rusts started showing just a few weeks after I installed it in the bathroom. It was not even in the shower or bathtub.

the only problem I had was I ordered a 12 inch grab bar and was shipped a 42 inch I looked at the label and it was marked 12 inches and had all the correct bar codes except the stickers were placed over the original label showing it was 42 inch's. I would have sent it back but I was able to use it in a different location.

I am happy with it. I do not know why none of the products from any of the manufacturers are not sized to match 16" studs! Too bad as that would make them mounted to the walls better/stronger.

This 12” grab bar installed easily and was a length that the local home improvement store did not have. Some instructions would have been nice to inform the installer that there are three small dots on the flange covers that should be placed over the small bends in the flange so the cover locks in place. Otherwise it installed in 10 minutes.

This is exactly what we were looking for. It is a practical, yet attractive addition to make our bath area safer.
