Useful!
After we find out we had a mice family, bought these (as the high rating) and put it in where I think the mouse might be Hiding, after 30 mins it caught it! We thought is the mother! And then later the baby mice came out...In total it caught 3 mice! In 3days, 2 fell into the sticky pad. Some run into the sticky pad which felt horrible that you need to kill it by hand :/.The reason I used sticky pad as well is we’ve got some baby mouse which is so light that it empty the food in the trap but doesn’t trigger it. So afterward I add more food/ cardboard paper to add on more weight. And it caught another 2.I feel that the mouse fell into the trap more than sticky pad. But sticky pad is a good use as a boundary to stop the mouse go to certain area. After caught the whole families, we still put the trap under the kitchen cupboard floor as it have a big gap and must be holes that we couldn’t find - we caught another 2!Strongly recommend to use both- trap and sticky pad, check hole in your wall, i also bought the electric high frequency thingy but doesn’t seems to work - I had put the trap with the mice next to it and it doesn’t seems panic 😅.

Blimey O'Reilly, it's MASSIVE.
It is absolutely massive! Having read the reviews I thought this was the best option to catch any of the mice my cats bring in to play with, then get bored of. I imagined 2 discreet little mouse sized tunnels, and did not check the dimensions! I did see the reference to rats, but skirted over that. I will keep them, bait them and put them out of sight and see what happens, but if you just want a mouse sized trap, maybe choose an alternative.UPDATEI have been using the traps for a few weeks and I am catching a couple of mice a week. Consequently I am forgiving of the size of the trap and just grateful that my cats' discarded playthings are coralled into a trap. I just put peanut butter in, and that and the combination of being frenetically chased by 2 killers is enough to get them to run it. Very easy to use. Totally excellent.Postscript - still regularly catching the mice my cats drag through the cat flap. Just wanted to add, that once the mouse escapes to safety in the tunnel, my cats then swat and bat the trap, trying to get at the little blighter. The trap is robust and has not relinquished it's new habitat. My signal that I've got a guest is that the trap has moved from its original position. So this is just to reinforce the sturdiness of the trap!

It works!! But ours came pre used.
This came with mice droppings in the device so I assume it wasn't BRAND new! However, we were very keen to get rid of our little pests quickly and safely. We placed the trap down in the evening. The following morning we were disappointed to see it empty by the late afternoon however we caught our first mouse!!! The little beast was so scared it made me feel sorry for him and also glad we didn't go the poison route. The difficult part was finding a new home for the more and having to transport it as far away as we could from our house. I would highly recommend this...it works really well.

Not wholly humane
As a catcher it is brilliant and this is my second order as rats a big problem even with 2 cats. However if you forget to check each day ( placed in sheds and cellars) the trapped creatures die of thirst. Would have been a 5 without the death of those poor creatures. I had tried filling the well with water but it is too shallow for much and the bait (corn flakes works like a charm)just gets in there so absorbing the water.I am now applying a cunning plan so the creatures can survive several days if necessary.

Best option if you don't want to kill mice
These work really well, if like me you don't actually want to kill mice these are a great buy, good size, easy to clean, easy to set and do the job. They are plenty sensitve enough as they caught 8 field mice which are very small and barely weigh anything. Only reason for dropping a star is the springs which work the door are likely to come off when cleaning and if you don't notice and put them back they are pretty useless. If this issue was addressed then without doubt they would get 5 stars.

Took a few tries to activate.
Used in the garden to capture a couple of field mice who were nesting too close to the house. Took 4 nights for them to become even slightly interested in the trap, then on day five we watched one for two hours running in and out of the trap, enjoying its feed. It wasn't setting off the trigger panel. Then today we got lucky and one mouse caught, one still to go.Never used traps before so can't compare, but isn't bad, three stars given as it took several attempts to activate the door and this was very frustrating.Just waiting for trap two so hopefully we can relocate them together.Peanut butter and sunflower seeds used, think the sunflower seeds were of more interest to them.

Fantastic product did the job! 👏🏻
I previously used a £5 trap from B&Q so went down the cheap route. The mouse kept taking the cheese but was never caught. Then I bought this one. Nothing for 3 nights then BAM when I went to bed just after 11:00 I heard then trap door shut downstairs. I heard from the doorway of the living room Mickey 🐭 scampering around and trying everything to get out. I put him outside for the night and released him the next morning safely far away from the house with my 3 young boys watching eagerly. They wanted him as a pet, he was very cute but not wild in my house rent free thank you! See ya Mickey hope you have a good life but please don’t come back to visit. 😂

Just perfect
We have three cats and from time to time bring in mice. Most of the time I needn't worry as they are dead. But occasionally they let them go in the house. So in that event I needed a humane mouse trap. After much searching I found the Everteco Humane Mouse Trap. The product is very well made and very easy to use. After some time trying different types of bait I came up with a special mix of peanut butter and grated cheese mixed into a paste. You have to be patient and leave the trap in the same position for a couple of days. On the third night we caught our first mouse. All in perfect health so we were able to release at the end of our garden, to live another day.
