The bulbs worked as in they do light up and the LEDs sequence from bottom to top. The color is good for a flame effect. The problem with these is that the light basically just flashes and it isn't at all random. It just goes from bright to dim very quickly with no variation at all. I returned them.

Both "bulbs" in a pack were dead when received. Not even a flicker of life. Power source was checked and was supplying power at 12 V DC.
