I love the belt.
Great belt only thing I don't like is the little nob on the back on the belt buckle.I ended up buying a new Buckle but the belt it self is soft and I love it

cheap split leather, runs bigger than listed waist size
This review is for the Bison Denim Mens Western belt and buckle, color Nk1814g+ds050-1zm-brown, size 33-36 inches. I got this to be used for western themed occasions. My teen has a 29” waist and my spouse a 31” waist. I didn’t see any indication as to whether the size was that of waist or belt size. I chose to order for the belt size (better too big than too small). Unfortunately for us, the largest hole fits about 42” around, the smallest about 36” around, and the entire length of the belt with the buckle is almost 47 inches. This would translate to roughly a 34-40" waist. On the inside of the belt it is marked 44/110 which seems to be the length of the belt not including the buckle- 44” and approx 110 cm.I think that the belt looks great- the belt and buckle are ornate without being too fussy. The buckle loop is riveted on and the decorative longhorn is also attached with something like rivets from the back. The belt loops are held together with basically a large decorative staple- there's no way that this will endure. The belt is marked as being 100” leather, made in China, Bison Denim, and “echtes leder” inside the genuine leather symbol. The attached tag lists the fabric and lining both as being split leather. So yes this is a genuine leather belt but it’s made of the softer portion of the hide. Though the outside of the belt has a “tough” finish, the inner side of it feels like a soft suede. When I punched a hole into the belt so that it would fit my kid I found the leather to be soft and crumbly, reminiscent of paper board. This belt looks great, is relatively inexpensive- 5/5. However it is not of excellent quality- 3/5. I wouldn’t suggest this for daily wear but it’s fine for special occasions. Overall it's a good belt as long as you know what to expect for size and quality.

Great belt for the price
Leather is soft and pliable, not super stiff. Looks great with jeans and boots.

Looks good from a distance
For the price of this belt, it's not too bad, but my over all impression is that the packaging is a little over-done for the quality of the belt. It comes in a nice box with everything individually wrapped and padded. The buckle is fairly lightweight due to the metal alloy. Upon close inspection, you can tell that the buckle is clearly two pieces; the main back plate with lightly engraved floral patterns, and the bull skull motif that is riveted to it (see photo). From a distance of a few feet it is not very noticeable, but it definitely takes away from the authenticity of the buckle when viewed up close. All in all it has a very cheap feel to it that I'm really not too crazy about. The belt itself has a weird stretchiness that I have never before seen in genuine leather, and while I do believe it is real genuine leather, I do think it's on the low end of quality. I do like the look of the basket weave tooling, and the offset of the light tan and dark brown make it pop in a very good way. The belt sizing was spot on, and it is very comfortable to wear. In summary, the belt overall feels very cheap, and I don't have huge expectations that it will have a long life, but if you are purely going for the look of a Western style belt, you will have no problem achieving it, so long as you don't look too closely at it.
