Pipkins by Petface Natural Wood Perch, Large

While it seems like a great bit of kit, I found it curious that rats were left off the list of rodents on the labelling. I had to do a bit of research and as it turns out, this perch is made of pine wood, which rats can have an adverse reaction to!It's a real shame because it smells lovely and is a good size. Giving this to a friend instead.

My hamster loved chewing on it, but within a few days it fell off the nail which was very sharp and sticking out. Hamster enjoys but could be dangerous.

The wood reeked of chemicals. It literally made me want to throw up. Clearly this is an anomaly as some reviews are even saying it smells nice. But no way in hell am I giving something like this to my rats.Also, wood is not for rats supposedly. I'll be doing my own research on this. You better too.

This has done the job nicely. The degus like sitting on it and chewing the bark off.
