16th August, 2024 - Plant is in good condition. Whether it is a purple hibiscus plant or not will be confirmed only after flowering. 27th August, 2024 - Beautiful purple hibiscus flowers have bloomed. ☺️

Bad preparation before packing
The plant perished / dried out within 2 weeks after planting immediately after receiving the parcel. Another similar plant Yellow with red in center, purchased together is now blooming well

Received in very bad condition
Received in very bad condition (though packing was rather good.) Insect-eaten leaves. Reviewing stars as, surprisingly, the plant survived, and it appears to be the correct plant. I pruned the plant, left it in water for some days, then planted it. After ‘sleeping’ for about 2 weeks, it started growing new leaves. Will update again after flowering begins.
