Pearlbar Charcoal Oral Care, 1 Toothbrush + Pack of 30 Charcoal Floss Set

Found this product while searching for non-plastic options for floss sticks. The package says 100% biodegradable and while I have not attempted to degrade the sticks themselves they feel very much like plastic. I could be totally wrong but even if that is the case a bag or box not made of plastic would be nice. The main problem is the actual floss is rather brittle and I often need to use two or three sticks in one sitting.

The picks are fine -- a little thick if teeth are spaced tightly, but worked for me fine, feel good. The moment I tried to brush with the toothbrush, bristles fell out into my mouth! MANY bristles! Once I got them rinsed out (not an easy task for some reason), I pulled on the bristles remaining in the brush to see if just some were loose. A bunch more came out, and then they stopped after several attempts. I figured that meant that the remaining ones were in securely, so I attempted to brush again. Lo and behold, with the first down-brush on my teeth, MORE bristles came out in my mouth (again, not easy to rinse out!) I just pitched it after that. Really liked the idea that it was ecologically responsible, but ended up being a waste.

Simply love that we can compost these. I hate having to throw away so much plastic for this sort of convenience, so these are simply great!
