Quiet and powerful
Powerful and quiet. Very easy to set up. I bought this thing to help cool down my kids room during the hot summer months since our AC doesn’t quite cool it down enough. So far we are loving it. It cools down the room quickly and maintains the temperature I set it too well. The controls are simple and has quick responses. It doesn’t kick in constantly which is very helpful. I also got it to make a make shift walk in cooler during hunting season to hang the animals I harvest. I highly recommend this powerful little AC unit. I will definitely be purchasing another for the other bedroom upstairs.

The BEST portable AC unit on the market!
IMO, the BEST portable AC unit on the market. I had already bought and returned two AC units before I bought this one. Both of the prior units I had bought (a whirlpool and a black and decker) were not able to cool my small apt of 600 square feet and the Black and Decker could not even cool down my tiny 120 square foot bedroom when the temp was only 84 degrees outside, I was lucky to get to 78 degrees after 4 hours of running these units on full blast. Although the larger whirlpool one did cool my small bedroom down pretty quickly, but not the living room. But after a more deep research dive (and I mean DEEP) into portable AC units looking at every unit on the market, I learned that inverters and dual hose portable AC units cool more efficiently and more quickly than single hose or normal compression AC units. The 16,000 unit is also smaller and did a dramatically better job of cooling down my apt than the other large whirlpool I bought. I also got the 12,000 BTU one of this same brand for my bedroom which does not have the inverter or the dual hose, yet, it cooled my bedroom down literally in 10 minutes dramatically from 84 degrees. (Like to the low 70’s within 15 minutes) The other units I tried spend hours and never even got close. Highly recommend this product! Both units got the job done, don’t waste your time with other portable units, these are the ones you want! Very happy with these units and so glad I returned the other ones. I don’t usually write that many reviews, but I spent countless hours doing deep research on portable AC units and I wanted to share this in case anyone else is struggling on making a decision. Also this info was hard to find so will provide it here. These are both 5’9 inch wide diameter exhaust hose and both are 59” inches in length. My window is a bit high and one of the other units the whirlpool could not reach my window height and I had to put it on top of a box, but these units both reached my window height no problem.

I have tried a few and this one was amazing!
I live in Florida. I have a central air unit that only seems to blow cold when the sun isn't out. This is my second central air unit and it doesnt seem to make a difference so I have gone to trying supplement units. My Livingroom is slightly under 300 sq ft. On one side is the front door and large window taking up the whole wall and on the other side is a wall of sliding glass doors with two dog doors. My living room is terribly hot everyday after 2 until 6pm. I tried a few air conditioners. First I got a Shinco 10,000 BTU / 8000 (great units did act more like a 10 than an 8) but wasn't doing the job in this living room. I read that you have to go up on BTUs if you have a lot of windows or sliding doors. So I got a 1600BTU (unfortunately I couldn't find a Shinco over 1200BTUs.) The BLATACY 16000 BTU didn't even keep the room as cold as the 10,000/8000 Shinco. Then I tired this 14000/ 12000. I am very impressed. Not only is it helping the central AC cool the whole house but it shuts off in mid day reaching the desired temp. My TV and couch are on the opposite side of the living room from the unit and I can feel the cold air all the way over where I sit. I waited a week before this review. The kit that came with the BLATACY was cheap. flimsy and kept falling apart. The Shinco had a nice quality kit and this was was the better of the three. I have no idea how long it will last or how much it will cost to run but it's definitely the best one I have had.

Affordable ans
Everything about this was easy to set up and its cooling power. It was so needed. I was in a desperate need of an AC and I didn’t have high expectations, but this definitely came through and surprised me. It gets cold very fast. The unit how a lot of power. ፗ It’s easy to set how cold you want it and has a timer to turn off and on. The cost of this unit was very reasonably priced compared to the competitors. Despite it's size, it works great I love using this unit.

Cool
Portable means temporary. I turn it on for 2 hours before going to bed, it's too noisy to leave it working all night. It's working for me, quality is good . I will keep it.

Why cool the entire house?
This has been a lifesaver. It works great to just cool our bedroom at night, instead of the entire house. It is a bit noisy, but that’s just white noise for sleeping I guess. Gets the room nice and chilly. Great for getting good sleep!

Performs beautifully and delivers on everything promised!
This 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner arrived quickly and was packaged very securely, with everything well protected. Setup was simple — it came with clear instructions and all the parts needed for installation. The design is sleek and compact, making it easy to fit into any room without taking up too much space. I really appreciate the remote control, which makes it convenient to adjust settings from across the room. It cools the space quickly and efficiently, just as described, and easily handles larger rooms up to 700 square feet. The 3-in-1 functionality is a great bonus — the fan and dehumidifier features work perfectly. I’ve also used the sleep and smart modes, and they maintain a comfortable temperature without being noisy or disruptive. The airflow is strong, and the auto swing helps distribute cool air evenly throughout the room. It’s also surprisingly quiet for a unit of this size, which makes it perfect for bedrooms or home offices. The timer function is handy, especially for setting it to turn off at night or before leaving the house. I love that it’s easy to move around thanks to the built-in wheels. The control panel is intuitive and user-friendly, even without the remote. Overall, this unit performs beautifully and truly delivers on everything promised in the description. It’s powerful, reliable, and versatile, making it a great investment for hot summer days. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a portable cooling solution that’s easy to use and built to last.

It works but not as well as expected...?
I have an apartment in SE MN with a window AC unit that has never worked - after 2 summer of suffering indoor temps of 80-85 I wanted to be prepared for the oncoming Summer, especially because I work from home. After doing research I settled on this one, super high rated, says not too loud, definitely has cooling feature, doesn't need you to add water, and comes with the hose kit. My apartment is 700 sq ft, and I actually got this because my hope was to place this in the bedroom and then leave the door open and cool the rest of the apartment. This would make it so the bedroom was always coldest, the room beside it is my daughter's and the cool air could go in there and be 2-4 degrees warmer than the bedroom based on dispersed air (she's not an Ice Monster like me), and then drift to the living room which would presumably be 4-6 degrees warmer. I keep the bedroom at a lovely and respectable 66, because I have a body that doesn't know what it's doing at any point ever and homeostasis is not it's primary task apparently. I would say the unit keeps the bedroom firmly 66 very well, and we have hot temps that typically are mid 80s in the awful heats. MN summers have a range, so we can get anything from 50-105 over the months. The problem is, it doesn't seem to cool the rest of the apartment, and part of why I got this particular unit at this power setting was with the intent for it to be able to do so. I am very very happy it works for the bedroom, but disappointed it doesn't cool the hallway, daughter's room, and living room/kitchen as I intended. The unit is fairly loud, if you have noise cancelling headphones you'd definitely want to use them while having it running. Sometimes there's a sort of grinding sound (like ice sloshing?) when it's on the Cold setting, and I think it might be just running it so long it forms slush and something happens internally, so I turn it off when that starts. If I'm not paying attention it sounds exactly like a cat scratching on a door. I'd definitely recommend placing it on a higher tier of some sort for draining purposes (otherwise if it's too humid it sorta leaks out the bottom) - it's very easy to care for in that aspect. Idk if there's something I'm missing in terms of using it, it has a fantastic manual of sorts, like we loved the set up of it and the images. I just think it may be more meant for a smaller space of 500 sq ft, and needs noise muffling (maybe will place some sound cancelling foam around it). I am fond of it, because it works hard, and keeps me from suffering an 80 degree house. It certainly has SOME effect on the rest of the house, because I'll leave the room it's in to get some quiet time from the machine noise and won't absolutely melt. I think it lowers the room temp by a few degrees, so it's not cold, but it's not dripping hot. But it feels like maybe something is off with this unit? Maybe it's just a noisy boy. I don't have a car so I can't do returns or anything I'll keep messing with it and update my review if I find some other trick to it. I just don't know if I can justify the cost for what it does, I paid $329 and I don't necessarily feel like it is worth that for me. I don't want to disrespect the company by any means, I think they put a lot of work into design, function, and in the materials for customers to read - they wouldn't do this without thinking they made something good. In summary, if you do have the means to do a return if you don't like it, and you don't mind some brown noise, need a cool room of ~500 sq ft, this will do it. And they have a policy asking you to send the unit in to refill refrigerant if it ever has a leak etc, which is very kind. I think it may be more helpful for other people, maybe the air flow is weird here.
