Did not work for me
I could not get the bottom metal piece out of the wood handle to thread the stitcher. Tried various tools and it was impossible. Returned it and got the brand-name Speedy Stitcher.

Works for what I need but lacking in quality
I was able to get this to work but I struggled with the poor quality. The bobin kept falling out and so did the needle. I used a piece of scrap leather to hold the needle in. Worked well. The thread tension pin fell off right away. I put it back but it was useless. I was able to use the tool to make the seams I needed. I would have liked better quality.

Needles so junky they couldn't even go through two layers of lightweight sailcloth, needles broke.
The needles are absolute rubbish. On my first attempt to pierce fairly lightweight Dacron (two layers), need snapped clean in half. Absolute garbage. But the brand name stuff.
