Kuyal Hard floor Chair Mat

I own two Kuyal mats—one I've used for about a year, and a second I purchased recently. Both arrived rolled up but flattened out easily after following the included instructions: unroll and then roll in the opposite direction. To help the edges settle, I placed heavy books overnight, which did the trick. The mats are transparent, allowing the wood flooring beneath to remain visible. On slick floors, the mat may shift slightly; however, the newer version included double-sided tape. I applied it to the top corners, and it has effectively kept the mat in place. The bottom surface of the mat is smooth, while the top has a subtle texture. My office chair glides easily across it, providing a comfortable and functional workspace. Overall, the Kuyal mat is a solid choice for protecting wood floors without sacrificing aesthetics or movement.

If yiu dont want to damage your floor, i would get this. It is transparent so aesthetically pleasing, durable, so great bang for buck. It is very comfortable. But one minor note is, your chair will roll off if you slide around too much

The first thing you'll notice upon opening this product is that it's in a roll (which you would expect thanks to shipping), and having it unroll to match your floor is a bit of an issue. After a few days of laying flat (maybe with the help of books) it WILL lay flat on the ground. It looks good, it does a great job of protecting the floor, but it does slide around a lot. It doesn't seem to grip a smooth floor very well. We have the fake wood grain flooring, with texture, and I have to move it back to it's original spot every morning. It does what I needed it to, which was protect the floor because my chair was breaking it, but if your primary concern is it not moving; this isn't your product.

Highly recommend. This Mat is great, hasn’t slipped or slide around the room. I initially laid it outside in the sun, when I unrolled it I flipped it and added weights on each side for about 1 hr. It flattened and was able to use immediately. The mat even comes with sticky pads for the floor incase it slide, but its lays perfectly flat. I love it.

As the title states, this thing is excellent. Now, for starters, I got this for a slightly different reason; it's currently acting as a floor protector for my dog's pad. They have TERRIBLE aim, so I laid this in their general business area, which is also behind my desk and where my chair rolls onto. Tight space. First off, flattening this baby was a piece of cake, really only took a day to uncurl with some weights on each corner, didn't need sunlight or warmth or anything. The quality feels great, it's pretty thin. I was worried I would roll onto the edge of it with my chair and feel a notable bump, but that's not the case. My chair has rollerblade wheels, and it rolls nicely on the mat, no issues. It's not too out of place, it has a light texture to it but like, I barely notice it on the floor. For the price? Worth it. There was already an accident on it, and it cleaned up great. If anything, I'm more upset I didn't get this sooner.

Don't use if you're applying to a hard floor and rug transition. The mat folds up and bunches up. The material is thin and too flexible.

This mat came exactly as described. It shipped quickly and arrived in a roll. I was able to easily lay it down and it settled into place with no problems. My chair rolls well on it and I would order it again. The mat also came with clear stickies for securing it to the floor. I haven’t used them and it my mat is secure as is, but I thought it was a nice touch.

My wife works from home and I spend most of my day on my computer. I needed something to protect the mid-century hardwood floors and these do the trick. The fit is true to size and fills the spaces I need it to easily. My wife's need a little cut to accommodate an old gas pipe and the mat cut easily with a box cutter and maintained all of it's durability and functionality. Our chairs roll smoothly on them and protect the floor just like it's supposed to. It also protects my floor from spills and being vinyl cleans really easily. I even protected my floor from when my clumsy ass dropped a bottle of nail polish I only have a couple complaints. Since it's on hardwood it does migrate over time and every month or so I need to push it back where it goes. It's a pretty heavy and thick mat but it repositions pretty easily. My other is it collects dirt under the edges so after time it isn't as invisible on the floor as I'd like it to be. Not major complaints and probably things that would happen with any mat for hard floors

Llego a tiempo y se ajusta totalmente a las especificaciones que indican el fabricante. Totalmente recomendable..

El material me encanta, luce bastante resistente en ambas presentaciones: transparente y color negro. El negro se ve muy bonito, aunque con las llantas de la silla se ensucia demasiado. En mi caso no tomó ni 5 segundos. En el caso del transparente, que no me gustaba mucho al inicio, en mi caso es mejor, ya que no refleja tanto como yo pensaba debido a tiene una ligera textura rugosa (algo favorable para los reflejos), y sirve para lo que fue diseñador: proteger el piso. Me encanta, estoy satisfecho con mi compra.

Je me suis rendu compte que les roues de ma chaise habimaient : le parquet en bois massif fait des echardes au niveau du passage des roues. J'ai donc acheté cette protection, elle est suffisamment grande pour que la chaise tienne et roule de droite à gauche. Elle protège le parquet et on le voit par transparence. Il faut mettre le côté granuleux vers le haut pour le les roues "accrochent" . Ce n'est pas invisible mais c'est mieux que des echardes. 😉 Sur la moquette l'avantage est que la chaise roule plus facilement.
