I find this pouch to be just what I need at times. Honestly, it's my best friend when I'm out running errands. I can throw in my ID/cards/cash and keys into it, strap it on my hip and head out (unfortunately my phone is just a *tiny* bit too big for this). I never have to take it off so no needing to make sure I grab my purse before getting out of the car - because it's right there. I like the look way better than a fanny pack, but still as functional as one.Super soft leather. Comes in a giftable box with a pouch. You can use the strap that comes with it - or slide it onto your own belt. Super versatile. I highly suggest this!

Ordered it as soon as I saw it! We love the ren fairs and just about all things dragon/fantasy/scify! Been gathering items to put an outfit together. Going to be awesome when it's done!But here's the thing, this is NOT real leather! So I took off a star for the false advertising/description.I questioned if it was real when I saw the pix, decided to get it anyway and see. I am not opposed to the fake leather, there are fake leather items that are done well and of course some is higher quality than others. If you do not believe me take this pouch into any tack shop or an Amish harness shop and ask them.So let's just clarify here...real leather comes from the skin/hide of an animal! "Vegan" leather is not real leather. Just saying.I'm not meaning to be a snob here either. I just personally have a lot of experience handling real leather gear be it for horses, dogs, shoes/boots, coats, purses.... When you have this type of experience there is no doubt when you see/smell/touch real leather and when it is fake.I feel this company went to great lengths to try to convince people their product is genuine leather from the name "lethrhide", it's in the nice cloth bag, packed in the nice black box... several photos they keep saying leather, in 1 pic they show the bag on the left half and on the right half is a pic of someone working on a genuine leather hide, notice they never once use the words "genuine/authentic leather" or "full grain leather", they go to great lengths in the description to spotlight good aspects of the details of the product... these things are all designed to trick you into thinking the bag is made of genuine leather.So now for the good. This is a really good faux leather rendition of an olde tyme leather purse/pouch that can be worn different ways and look good with many different eras/time periods and types of outfits such as ren fair/pirate.... and even with modern day fashions. I appreciate the attention to details... love the color with the variations in the brown, love the dragon scale pattern, hardware has a nice look to it, stitching is good throughout... Strap is a bit thin but it's made to be less noticeable I think, it can be worn several different ways...I actually really like the look of all 3 of the listed style bags. The price point of $16.99 regular price per the listing is a reasonable price and there is a 10% off coupon right now plus another discount if you purchase 2 or more. So for this and the use/happiness someone can get out of this I will accept this as a good buy. In fact even given all I have said I am considering ordering the other 2 styles, with the knowledge before hand they are not genuine leather, but they would lend themselves well to me enjoying the "look/effect" they have on the overall outfit.As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices on how to spend your $.

This is a well made leather belt pouch or small bag that includes a thin shoulder strap if you'd rather wear it that way. I got this for my son and his friends to store their card game supplies inside, but my wife said the design was really well done and she liked it as well.I don't know anything about the manufacturer and we weren't purchasing this as part of a costume or for a renaissance faire, but it is well constructed and closes reliably with the magnetic closure. I wouldn't say that it is a tight enough closure that I would put loose coins into it unless I was always planning to keep it upright.For what I needed, it is perfect.

This bag has a good number of design features that allow it to hold up well as an addition to a costume for Renaissance Festivals. From a distance, it will pass as a leather pouch with a dragon scale grain that can be worn in a variety of ways. The brassy clasp and decorations add to the semi-handcrafted look, as well.However, if you already have some truly hand-worked leather pieces on your costume, then this will likely stand out due to its lesser quality. The $20 price point is probably at the high end of what I would pay for this pouch.Don't get me wrong, this will totally work if you are (like most of us) putting together a budget-conscious outfit. But if you're going for total realism, you might want to continue shopping.

Really like this belt pouch - its the perfect size for hiding my cell phone (Galaxy S21 Ultra) and carry a few small items at faire. The belt loop on the back is a bit on the small side, it wouldn't fit the belt I usually wear, but would probably fit most standard size belts. The included detachable shoulder strap had nice clasps and is adjustable. I know they were going for an aged/natural variation dyed look, but it does look a bit blotchy up close - still beautiful from a distance. The metal findings are a nice touch. I'd give it 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5) for an item that came better then expected, only improvements I could see are a larger belt loop and smoother coloring.

I feel like so many "Leather" products on Amazon these days are actually "vegan leather," which is a euphemism for plastic (Polyurethane/vinyl). This pouch is actually, authentically, truly LEATHER!! THANK YOU, that there are still craftsmen sellers on Amazon!!! The pouch is AMAZING! Definitely leather and medieval vibing! Perfect for my daughter, who is into all things LoR (Lord of the Rings), and this passes as an elven satchel. LOVE IT!! Thanks!
