Once you understand the assembly process, it's a pretty quick item to assemble and seems very sturdy. I used a hammer with a wood block to gently compress the shelf on each of the rods, and that worked well for me. Nice size and looks good too when assembled. Isn't flimsy looking as others I've bought in the past.

This was so incredibly easy to put together. It is very sturdy. We have loaded it up with items in our pantry since we don't have any permanent shelving and it fits so many items. I was worried it would feel rickety or shaky, but it doesn't budge. The shelves are supporting the weight really well, no bowing. Such a great find. These could be used in garages, pantries, closets, etc.

Good quality easy to assemble a size is good. The value for money is good but you can’t tell it was made in China or somewhere but it’s sturdy and it’s excellent for garage storage.

I love these shelves. They are just what I wanted and needed for all those small appliances and extra things I have. The instructions were not too bad to follow. I always have a hard time putting together things but I did it…. Without losing my cool😁It’s very sturdy and does the job! I ordered it in black. If I even need more shelving I’ll order this again.

I bought 3 of these racks so I had the opportunity to open and assemble them a few times. The racks are very nice. I think they could hold the 1600 lbs in total but I'm not going to test that capacity. The packaging is amazing. I've never seen something so efficiently packaged for shipping. I know that is an odd comment but that is what I thought as I was unpacking them. There are a few parts that come with the package. There were zero missing parts. The assembly is easy. The main challenge is figuring out how you are going to space the shelves but once you have that complete the rest is a breeze. I have a larger gap at the bottom for heavier items and due to the narrowness of the shelves I'll keep the heavy stuff low. For installation I'd make a few changes to their instructions. 1) The poles come in 3 sections (low, mid and upper). Don't put them together in one step like their instructions suggest. Screw the middle poles to the lower poles and install the shelves until you need additional pole height. Otherwise you are having to install the shelves onto a 70" tall pole and that is sort of a pain. 2) Throw away the little wrench they ship with the shelves. It is pretty useless. Use a 8mm socket instead. 3) After you assemble the shelves use a soft rubber mallet to tap them down onto the pole anchors to help secure it a little tighter. For the manufacture... get ride of the thumb screws. Just use a standard nut and bolt. I'd buy more if I needed additional shelves.

Seems sturdy. However, the wrench they give you is useless and is not the correct size. Plus, there is absolutely no room between the shelf and your fingers or tool for the screw. The overall size is smaller than i anticipated. I started to put it together 3 days ago and it is still sitting on the floor because it is impossible to get the screws in.
