Just what I needed to stiffen a shirt collar.

Works great for crocheted sun hats for the brim

Although this is 20 gauge it is super super flimsy. I figured I would still try to use it for my project and I tried to dye it as it says it is cotton wrapped, it is not cotton and did not dye, it is probably poly or something. Tried to used markers on it that use on other millinery wire, but again it did not take. I would say save your money and buy millinery wire from a reputable millinery online shop.

This works for brim of crochet hat, but wish it were firmer.

It wasn't a bad price and it works well for what is for.

This is 20 gauge wire so it's thin and bendy but pretty strong and great for adding a bit of structure to millinery projects. The cotton covering is really nice and makes it easier to attach the wire to buckram or other fabrics. It's a good price per yard and so far it's working well. This is perfect for hat brims you want to be able to bend and shape each time you wear them out for other projects where you just need a little extra structure.

Super flimsy. No way this is 20 gauge wire and I agree with the other reviews that this is not cotton wrapped…probably polyester. Will not work for hat brims.

This is definitely NOT 20 gauge wire, maybe 20 after it's wrapped. Completely useless for millinery and too weak for floral work, don't waste your money
