Glue and screw
If you’re going to buy this I’d recommend buying wood adhesives when building and additional upright supports to keep everything together as I’ve had trouble with heat causing expansion and movement so something to tie the boards together better is a good idea. Overall it’s pretty easy and simple to construct I did it myself over a couple weeks I also got a rubber roofing membrane instead of felt from a different supplier. Timbers a decent enough quality though some parts have knots and other deformities which is unavoidable. Instructions and identification of parts are also pretty vague. I’ve had this structure for almost a year now and am pretty happy with it minus the few issues with heat warping which I’ve managed to deal with by additional adjustments to the structure but for the price I’m alright with that. Just make sure everything is joined together solid and secure when building

What an project
We have built our summer house on a concrete decking and then ontop of square galvanised metal tubing. There was more costs involved to improve the outcome and was worth it. As you can see in the photos not everything tied in well, but luckily my husband is an engineer he could work with it. By the way my husband put up this all on his own and he ain’t no spring chicken. We insulated the roof and side walls and we didn’t like the Perspex windows so we bought our own double glazed windows. In all this project took my husband January 2023 and finished building and painting ready to move all my art stuff in by the 1st of June 2023. The finial interior measurements are: 1st room with doors 320cm by 200cm and the second room 370cm by 260cm. The building instructions is only a floor plan with size which I had to google that is why this only gets 3 stars and some of the wood was split and cracked. All in all thanks to my husband’s creativity and of cause my supervision skills 🤣 the summer house is fantastic and I’m thrilled with it.
