The media could not be loaded. I hopped onto the Stanley trend without realizing that the cups are NOT spill proof. Unfortunately I learned that the hard way after accidentally knocking over my cup which ended up spilling without me realizing. I was thinking to return the cup altogether but it kept my drinks so cold for so long that I was willing to search for a solution. I found these stoppers on amazon that also came with the CUTEST straw toppers so I decided to order. After putting both the silicone lid pieces and a straw topper on 2 of my Stanley’s, they never leaked again! They are now 100% leak proof, even if turned upside down. HOWEVER, there is a downside to these. For some reason, after putting these on the suction became harder on the straws. Meaning it takes more effort to sip the water, since there is a silicone piece grabbing the outside of the straw topper prevent spilling. However, I don’t mind this so much and prefer it over the constant spilling. I ended up getting used to it but it may not be for everyone.

Edit: the round leak stopper that goes on the inside has the TINIEST air vent. So no liquid can come through, but it took a couple of washes and accidentally jamming a small cleaning brush through the hole for 1) me to realize it was there and 2) for it to loosen up enough for it to actually function in preventing the creation of a vacuum seal on the inside while drinking. Now my drinking experience is both mess-free and much easier. Just took a little breaking in and lack of observation on my part for it to work as intended. Update to 5 from 4 stars, and my original review is below to show the progression of my opinion of the product.I did the flip test on a full 32oz Stanley, and it held excellently! The straw topper is a tiny bit looser than a different topper that I have, so I have more concern about it popping off if it gets knocked over than with the other one (different purchase). But! The leak guards for the lid itself create an excellent seal! So much so that a little vacuum is created each time I take a sip since there is no longer any place for air to vent back inside while I'm drinking. Not a problem for me since I'm a sipper and not a chugger! But it might be for you if you take big swigs like my husband does. Now I won't be as anxious about my drink decorating the living room if my toddler gets a hold of my Stanley anymore.Also, the boot is really nice. My cup doesn't have the signature metallic thud when it set it down anymore (that I hated).

I looked at many other stoppers, straw caps, boots, and other accessories but I am very glad I chose this one! For one, I love how the color matches my Stanley precisely— it looks so good! And the little polar bear straw cap it came with is perfect because that’s my school’s mascot. For two, the product serves its purpose very well and now my Stanley does not leak one bit!! Very satisfied 🥰
