In the Image of God: A Psychoanalyst's View 1st Edition

Stanley Leavy was rare. A Jewish convert to high ritual Anglicanism, and also an eminent Freudian psychoanalyst and clinician, sometime their elected president. The book is lectures delivered to a well-educated Yale parish including another analyst, and all his observations are informed, thoughtful and direct. Leavy is not afraid to express his own judgments, while honoring other reasoning where he disagrees. Buy an extra copy and give it to a friend whose thinking you respect.
