great project starter
fits together nicely. holds a Waveshare 3.5" touchscreen (480x320) as long as it is the older kind without HDMI (luckily also the cheapest kind of LCD). a small bracket is built into the face of it to support the LCD securely. I'm using a RPi 2 B and it makes a very nice alarmclock/screensaver.lots of room in the base if you want to mod. potentially a small speaker or battery pack could be added with a little effort.

It's fine, just be sure it fits your display
It fit everything after some minor modification with a big wire cutter. Had to snip out a few bits of plastic to make my Pi fit with the display attached using the little HDMI plug it came with. Had to snip some plastic out to get around the HDMI connector. Otherwise it fit fine, and after cutting you can't tell I did anything to it unless you pickup and flip it around, which most folks won't be doing anyway. I'd by it again if I was using a display panel without HDMI as I expect it would fit perfect.

Great case that looks professional
I think people saying that it has bad fitment are just using the wrong screen. There are two very similar looking and operating 3.5 inch GPIO touchscreen types that have slightly different screen placement. The Waveshare 3.5" IPS touchscreen is what fits this case. The other type of non-IPS screen will be too far to the right by a few millimeters. The case is great on a desk because the screen is at a good angle for viewing and touch. The screen angle and rubber feet keep it from sliding when using the touchscreen.I also just love the way it looks with the rounded corners a large bezel. To me it looks better than any of the other 3.5 inch touchscreen cases.

doesnt fit all 3.5 screens
The side are exactly opposite of what my screen needs. One side of the view-able area is covered and the other non view-able part is not.UpdateIm using this screenhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FXC5ECS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The screen does not extend the full length inside the pane there is 4mm dark space.and it doesn't work because this space is on the wrong side and gets exposed (and the other view-able space gets covered up.Further research shows other brands to be turned 180 out. Look where the power input is on the pi in relation to the cable connect from the screen to the board. If its like the Kuman I have the GPIO is top left, the board cable is right bottom and the PI power is bottom left.Screens set like this wont work with this case.Any screen with all three of those on the right side should work.Such as the one they show "frequently bought together"https://www.amazon.com/waveshare-3-5inch-RPi-LCD-Directly-pluggable/dp/B01N48NOXI/ref=pd_bxgy_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01N48NOXI&pd_rd_r=548d261d-fbbc-11e8-b9c1-d922174ca744&pd_rd_w=Lsz1c&pd_rd_wg=FSmRE&pf_rd_p=6725dbd6-9917-451d-beba-16af7874e407&pf_rd_r=CW0BTFBCXTYS76MTGTZA&psc=1&refRID=CW0BTFBCXTYS76MTGTZA(Setting the screen to 180 out doesn't move the 4mm dark space)

No screen
Maybe this is my fault, but the picture made me believe that it came with a screen. The top has a broken piece chipped off of it. Still going to try to install. Will update review upon install.

This is a great idea. The angle of view is nice very visible at All direction, am using as my Media center console/control. The rubber stops make it easier to stand firmly on any surface, fits in the palm well, well rounded corners. I plan to stick a little speaker inside via the audio. The LCD space could be round edges. If other colors is available it would be great. Black, green, yellow. Is there a 5" or 7" version.

Premium price for amateur design
It's pretty disappointing to pay $18 for a case only to receive something where the details are completely missed. The clamshell design is off by a couple of millimeters. Or, it was designed to have a very visible ugly seam where the two pieces of plastic meet. The punchouts for the various RPi ports are all "close enough" but it's very obvious when a USB port doesn't fully match up with the position of the plastic. What's truly bothersome is the flimsy plastic left behind between the punchouts for the two stacks of USB ports. There's no spine or support on the inside of the clamshell to prevent this very thin tooth of plastic from easily breaking off.The 4"x1.5" instructions leaflet is only a QR code that points you to a YouTube video that gives assembly instructions. The instructions clearly show that two brass posts are needed to fully assemble the unit, but those posts are not included in the unit, nor are they listed in the "what's included" list on the back of the leaflet. Oops.Did I buy a counterfeit? Beware!

Very nice little tabletop case
This case combined with the touchscreen I bought separately are very nice! Easy to put together and looks great. Easy access to all of the Pi's ports as well.
