HardnutZ Helmets Hi Vis Yellow Road Cycle - Yellow, 54-61cm

This is the most High Vis, High vis helmet out there.I ordered this helmet and then read the reviews in more detail afterwards, to find that most people said it is too tight if your head is more than about 57cm... so I was worried about the arrival, expecting it not to fit. I'm very glad I didn't read these reviews first- or I may have not ordered it!I have a 59cm head (measured properly by a professional head measurer), and it fits me perfectly, and I need to tighten the crank at the back by about 2 clicks (admittedly not alot of room for error, but it's not like your head size fluctuates). The only reasons I can think of to explain the reviews saying it's too small, is that those people either dont know how to measure their heads, or they wear helmets too loose.the size of up to 61cm is probably accurate, given that I need to tighten it a bit.The design is quality, the straps look quality, the padding is comfortable and removable for washing (velcro).I promise i'll update this review if I ever have any issues with it.

Excellent price from Amazon, well constructed and so easy to adjust compared to my old helmet.Very visable when using at night, but does not look out of place in day time use.Would highly recommend this helmet,the included carry bag also makes a good visable rucksac (nice touch).

I cycle every day and after 18 months on a new cycle route that is used by heavy goods vehicles and commuter traffic, I wanted a new helmet that would add to my visibility. I tried a couple but the fit wasn't good. The Hardnutz yellow Hi Vis helmet, bought for a competative price on Amazon, was a good fit straight out of the packaging and better than the others I tried. I've had comment from drivers that it has improved my visibility. It feels secure and I'm glad I bought it. I recommend it.

This product arrived ahead of time. I had ordered the yellow hi viz helemet and upon opening it discovered that the yellow is actually lime green. That said, it is still highly noticeable and thats the main reason why I bought it. I was worried that other reviewers had said it was a very tight fit. It fits my head more snugly than my other 56 - 62 cms helmet but i wouldnt describe it as tight. I took it out for a 30 mile spin and my head was noticeably warmer and more sweaty but not excessively so. I would say this is a good helmet for the money and it is definately highly visible which is why i got. I have given it four stars because it is NOT yellow as in the photos but otherwise good.

This was a new brand to me and, as a frequent road cyclist, I was taken by the Hi-vis colour (as well as a very good price). My order arrived extremely quickly and the helmet fitted straight out-of-the-box thanks to the dial-fit system, which I have only previously seen on climbing helmets. It is a very good, comfortable fit for me and, so far, I am very pleased with it.Keith

Really easy to adjust fittings to your head shape. Good quality product.

Having looked at various helmets, the HardnutZ hi vis yellow stood out against the others purely for the colour and the reflective strips for safety reasons. The adjuster at the back of the helmet works really well so you can get the correct fit, nice touch. Feels comfortable even after an hour (new to biking lol...). Certainly worth the money.

Fitted well, easily adjustable and is the high-viz yellow that I wanted, plus added reflectors. Not sure if I would be visible from outer space as per earlier reviewer, but certainly feels like it!!! Have worn it on several longer rides now and it's very comfortable. Very pleased with my purchase and would buy again.
