This has a naturally slightly sweet taste to me. I'm enjoying adding a very samll amount to my water. I sip it throughout the day. It has a wonderful refreshing taste.

After Spending Some Time In Okinawa I Decided To Try To Order My Favorite Drink From When I Was There For The Record This Is Not It... Even In Japan It Was Hard To Get A Clear Understanding Of Which Was Which So I Cant Fault Them Too Much After Some Research I Believe This Is Shikuwasa (Sour Kind) And I Was Looking For Shiiuwasa (sweet Kind) for those confused this kind is basically Okinawan lime juice its tart and sour and bitter the kind I'm looking for is basically Okinawan lemon and its sweet and sugary

Okinawa population has been studied for years as the longest lived & healthy population being Blue Zone. I read in clinical studies Shikuwasa is rich in nobiletin rich kososan compounds. Since it has a sour flavor, I make a cocktail with San Pellegrino , tart cherry concentrate, & ginger juice. Comes in a nice oriental box!
