eKitch Chefs Preparation Chopping Board with stainless steel prep bowls Pro bamboo cutting station

I bought this to replace my old oversize butcher's block which split after 23 years of faithful use. I especially liked the fact that it's longer than the average chopping board and I was quite taken by the idea of the little bowls. Having now used it for a couple of months I find (a) it's probably a little less solid than I would like and I don't use the bowls as much as I'd thought (b) the little 'feet' annoy me as they aren't quite level!Having said that, it was very good value and I still like the fact that it's bigger than most models and as I'm new to bamboo, I am pleasantly surprised that it seasons just as well as wood (clean with olive or sesame oil every couple of weeks to keep the surface pristine). I still have my doubts about its durability, but I will continue to use it and care for it as preciously as my old butcher's block.

I've had this board for around 6 months and so far it seems pretty durable, it is starting to show some signs of wear from all the cutting but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a nice size and the pots come in handy for separating different ingredients. The pots sometimes fall out when tipping the board to sweep ingredients into the pan so I try to remember to take them out first. It also stays steady on the worktop, the feet are made of the same stuff as the board and are well fixed instead of those useless rubber feet that always come off leaving you with a wobbly board!

Great chopping board with handy little metal bowls for holding chopped garlic or ginger, or the pieces you want to discard (ends of vegetables, peelings etc.)My only grip would be that the grooves on the edge of the chopping board could be deeper to catch more juice, drippings, water etc. Other than that a great chopping board, very sturdy and the small feet elevating the board give a more stable feel to chopping.

It's durable and multi-functional with the two source container, together with the chopping board can be used as a serving board as well.

This replaced a board with a larger metal dish built in to collect either what was being chopped or peelings. The little dishes are handy but don't honestly hold all that much, but I was unable to find a replacement with a larger dish when researching on the internet. Washes well.

smaller than I expected, but the little dishes are fantastically convenient. Certainly wouldn't have this as our only chopping board, but it's handy for cutting up chillis for a curry, etc.

This is a lovely and out of ordinary chopping board.Feels really stable and it looks of good quality.

This arrived well before expected and was extremely well packaged to protect from damage. It's much better quality than the picture gives credit for. I have had bamboo chopping boards previously and they wear well and last a long time without the degrading of normal wood boards. The price for this was amazing. I'm a very happy bunny with this purchase.
