Peter and the Wolf, Op. 67: Full Score (English and German Edition)

I'd give it 5 stars except it has no English in it whatsoever. Big enough to be readable, acceptably engraved. Good for following a recording.

I needed the music for the tune Prokofiev associated with Peter, so that I could play it in a different context. It also occurred to me that I may want, from time to time, the theme for all the other characters. Since I can read music and I can read German, this fit the bill on all counts. I can play what I want, even if I end up playing Peter with a clarinet instead of a violin.

Only a narration in German is included; there is no English translation. Please change the misleading title. Otherwise the score is easy to read (easier than the old Kalmus edition).

This is listed as being in both German and English. This is not true; it is German throughout. Repackaged for return. Looks like a nice, well-printed copy- if you understand the language.

Very nicely produced score. The text for the narrator is in German only, so the description should be corrected.

Perhaps this should have been my own intuition on the publisher... but the score is totally in German. The SCORE itself is BEAUTIFUL!Keep making music!-ALN
