digiCOVER Hybrid Glass Display Protection Foil for Olympus Pen E-PL5

I thought that £20 was a lot for a screen protector but because of the specific shape of the CM1, with it's protruding lens, the screen gets more contact in the pocket than flatter phones. I left the original shipping plastic film on the phone and saw quite how many impacts it got. I ordered this hybrid protector as I had heard good experiences from friends who had used glass, as opposed to cheaper plastic, screen protectors.Having received this I carefully started applying it in a quiet room but I have cats and carpet so dust and some cat hair is always present. My first attempt was a failure but I was able to "clean" the inner side of the product by applying strips of good quality sticky tape. then using these as another peel layer I managed to apply the product correctly. There were some bubbled but after some careful work and also leaving it overnight the whole thing is pretty perfect now. Only flaw is that I did crack the protector on the very narrow portion above the earpiece, but it is firmly enough attached that it is only visible when looking closely and does no affect the functionality.Overall, given the cost, I am suitably impressed.

Not much good for a Canon G3X, whilst it covers the viewing area, it doesn't cover the entire rear screen, so that could get scratched.

Poor quality item for the price. Wouldn't buy again. Edge finish on product not as good as some screen protectors purchased in the past for much less.
