Apalus VP fly screen door, magnet insect protection for balcony doors

Absolutely the best £21.99 I have ever spent. Ok it was a bit of a faff fitting it as our door was a bit short so needed it be folded over and pinned at the top. I enquired but seller doesn’t supply extra pins so we used the white ones from our previous fly curtain that had fallen apart after a years hard use (I coloured them black with a Sharpie to match!). We live in the country and the flies in summer are a nightmare. But the door is always open during the day for fresh air and this was proving impossible with the flies. I mentioned above we had a cheaper version of this kindly given to us by a friend which fell apart after a years hard use. We have two dogs and we are all in and out the house non stop so I couldn’t complain. This screen is a game changer. Straight away the quality is obvious, magnets are in the lining so can’t fall off and the fabric is much thicker and stronger. The black actually works much better than the white for visibility. The magnets are strong and snap back silently. It’s been up a few months and shows no signs of wear or sagging. I couldn’t recommend it enough

Easy to fit - well made and - if you have some basic sewing skills - easy to shorten - just remove the black binding, trim to the correct length (the magnets are rubberised so can be trimmed to length) and reattach the binding. Look smart and the dog got the hang of them quickly - and - most importantly - no more flies! Brilliant!

Super easy to install, took me around 20 mins from start to finish, from cleaning the area to hanging the screen. Sticky Velcro seems strong & feels like it will stay stuck & not peel off. This is the BEST screen I have bought & seen & I've bought a few. It looks nice when up & the quality is outstanding. 12 months replacement guarantee with an added 6 months if you reply to their e-mail. Excellent Service! Money well spent!

The product is great! Robust with very strong full length flexible magnets. I would give 5 stars, however, be careful, there's no walk through to select size and if you don't choose it, you get a default. Therefore mine had to go back. A waste of time for all.

The screen was easy to install and fitted perfectly. Does the job of keeping flies etc out but allowing fresh air in. Dog manages screen without any trouble. I liked it that much that I ordered a second to replace this one when it is required as the product won’t last forever and I couldn’t be sure it would be available at that time.

This fly screen cost more than I really wanted to pay, however I found its quality far superior to anything else I have bought at what I felt was a reasonable price. This is well made of durable material. The magnetic seal edges are continuous, not spot magnets as one finds on cheaper products. The Velcro mounting strips for the top and sides is one continuous strip, not short tabs. When this fly screen is installed, it stays installed. Best of all it survives the dog wandering out and back in all day, which on warmer dry days, I can leave the door open all day and not need to worry about beasty files buzzing into the kitchen and contaminating all which the land on. Great product, excellent value for money. One small aside, you can get replacement Velcro strips from the supplier.

This is my 2nd purchase. Bought the last one September last year. Washed up great in the machine but other set got torn moving stuff out of the door. Easy to install. Good solid product. Blends in with the door. Strong magnets would recommend to keep out those flies. Another inch in length would be great but lowered 2nd set slightly.
