Very pleased to obtain this updated edition of a book which remains a most valued guide to patients and professionals alike.

I cannot recommend this book enough to those suffering from bipolar disorder and their family members.I am lucky enough to have access to my university's medical library and the scientific knowledge from my degree - for those without this, understanding bipolar disorder and the use of lithium treatment can seen an insurmountable task. At just 65 pages this guide is concise, accessible and contains all the information required to allow informed decisions.In my opinion this should be given out to patients by doctors.
