We were really looking for a stove top kettle that would be big enough to make our whole 8 cup (40 oz) chemex. This one fits 40 oz.... but when you try and boil it that full it over flows. That being said, the kettle is beautiful, and it is easy to quickly refill and boil a second batch.

The kettle is very well-made with only stainless steel material inside.Pros: The kettle is made from thick stainless steel material, much thicker than the similarly-priced products you can usually buy in grocery store. The bottom is also well welted with thick stainless steel The gooseneck pour is strongly welted inside the kettle No rust yet after months' nearly daily use.
