Very hard to drive
Used these in a subfloor application - adding a new layer of subfloor over old (plywood to OSB). The upper reverse thread causes too much resistance when driving the screws, causing many to not drive all the way or strip out. Neither the Senco collated driver nor a regular impact driver could consistently drive these screws. Using a newer bit helped, but we quickly wore out a number of bits in the process.Got around this by predrilling holes in some cases; this allowed the boards to pull tight and negated the effect of the reverse thread.On reflection I don't understand the point of the reverse threaded section - if they just left the shank UNthreaded it would also pull tight.
