Stainless Steel Track and Cross Country Spikes

Received just in time for a cross country meet! Fit perfectly worked well and not very expensive. Much appreciated!

We needed extras to keep in my son’s track bag. Easy to use. Love the case they came in.

needed some spike blanks for my son's cross country shoes so he could wear them on other surfaces without damaging the spikes, or the threaded holes for the spikes. the blanks fit perfectly

Spikes appear to be great quality. I only got 99 and I did count twice since they arrived all loose all over inside the package due to bad item packaging concept. If using a tin can, get one that the lid twists on and off. This thing is as cheap of tin as possible it seems.It was interesting, they arrived in a small metal/tin can like you use to get those old fashioned candies in back in the 70s. The problem is the tin can in shipping opens up, the lid isn't tight at all, I had to put all the loose spikes all around in the package, in to the can, put the top back on and then put the tin inside a ziplock, there is no way this lid will stay on so you will have spikes all over inside your bag with your gear and it will be a nuissance when you need them.I recommend using a high quality ziplock pouch like all the other sizes have arrived in that I have ordered from this seller, to avoid this issue,. If the tin will be used, it needs to come with tape over the sides of it or a plastic wrapper to keep the lid attached to the base throughout the picking, packing, shipping and arrival stages at a bare minimum. I had to ultimately use a ziplock anyways because it will just pop off again, this lid is not tight at all.

I wanted more traction with my honda self propelled walk behind mower. So i ordered these spikes and drilled holes in my rear plastic "tires" and jB welded 8 spikes into each rear tire. Improves traction, and gives my mower that sweet mad max vibe...lol

These Blanks are nice because they lay flat. You do have to carry a small flathead screwdriver in your shoe bag, but it beats having a protruding area.

Got the spike blanks so my kid could wear his cross-country running shoes after the season was over. The blanks fit well, but I was not aware that significant portions stick out after placement - could feel and hear metal scratching the floors while walking. We had to return the blanks. Opted to fill in with shoe goo, and that worked much better.

Works well. Does the job.
