Great value softshell jacket
I've tried several softshell jackets but they haven't quite done it for me with regard to the fit.I'm 6ft 1in tall, 13 stone, 42 inch chest and 34 waist. I like a snug fitting jacket with a little room for base layers and the medium for me was perfect. Before I purchased I was concerned about arm length but the arm length is spot on for a 6 footer!!The pockets are great for me, one on each shoulder, one on the left forearm, 2 front pockets (with 2 small internal zip pockets and D rings for keys) The 4 front and shoulder pockets each have a grommet to pass your headphone cable through. I just shows the attention to detail to create a great jacket at a great price. There are 2 rear pockets which access the same compartment, handy if you're a cyclist. The collar, internal elasticated drawer cord seems a bit of overkill. It really is just an elastic drawer cord tied off at the ends. A spring toggle on each end would tidy it up but I don't really see a need for it.The hood stows away in the collar and at first the collar feels a bit unforgiving. I soon didn't notice it though and on a chilly morning I appreciated the padding and the insulation on the back of my neck. The hood has a peak, it's own drawer cord and a volume adjuster. It can also be remove by unzipping if required so again great attention to detail and a lot of effort has gone into constructing this jacket.Add to that the underarm zips for ventilation and you've got yourself a pretty impressive soft shell jacket. It's practically identical to the HELIKON TROOPER SOFT SHELL JACKET which is twice the price.Overall I'm really happy with the quality and price of this jacket compared to others I have considered and tried.

Warm and comfortable
I brought this for my partner who works with dogs and is outside ALOT, in all the elements. He is very happy with this coat and wears it all the time for work. I like the fact it has a hood, which can be put away when not needed or detached. It’s good quality, light weight, water resistant and a soft fleece inside.Easy to wash and comes out looking like new, hasn’t faded. It has ample pocket storage and a Velcro sticker can be placed on the arm.Overall very happy with the product, good value for money and comfortable. Would recommend to others

Looking good on me
Absolutely love this Shell Jacket. Being once in the military, I know what quality is for outdoor use. It needs to be wind-proof, waterproof and warm. It has all of these qualities. I go shooting a lot and my peers are very interested in the jacket. I particularly like the vented zip aerating your body to breath where you need it. That was a nice surprize. Fantastic jacket but with some oddities.
I love this jacket and wear it every day but there are some weird issues with the design that people should be aware of.The jacket is relatively thin so not the warmest thing, I originally purchased this to be a waterproof over layer over a fleece so it wasn't a problem and the sleeve cuffs expand enough to wear over another jacket. During the end of Summer and Autumn in the UK recently we have had torrential rain but moderate temperatures so this jacket worn without another layer has been excellent, just a t-shirt kept me warm and dry. When zipped right up over the neck it is warmer than expected for a thin jacket. The pockets on this jacket are strange so buyers should be aware. There are two internal pockets (one on each side) that are quite small and unusually low, I quickly discovered that the best way to access these is with the front of the jacket having an odd "double zip" is to raise the bottom zip - meaning that you can reach the pocket while still leaving your hood up and most of your body covered - great in heavy rain. The issue with these is that they are too small to fit a wallet or mobile phone. There are two shoulder pockets (one each side) which can fit phones and wallets or more - they go quite high up past the zips so could hold quite long objects - I don't know what you would use these for. The pockets are also only "mostly" waterproof - my phone was covered in moisture and luckily we have moved to plastic banknotes. So yes, the only pockets capable of holding money or electronic devices will result in them getting wet. There is a small pocket on the left forearm which can hold something about the size of a credit card. There are then two vast pockets on the sides, these can hold far more than is practical and come complete with internal loops so you could clip keyrings to or similar. Finally there is a pocket on the back, accessed via two zips so that it resembles the "kangaroo pocket" on hoodies but at the back. I have no idea what you would use this for.The hood can be rolled up and put in the collar (making the collar a little bulky) or removed entirely via zip but it has not stopped raining long enough to try this. When worn if can be tightened around the face via elastic to add extra warmth or cover.Overall a great jacket but it has its quirks.

Super quality softshell jacket
Really impressed by this jacket. I wanted a decently priced softshell for wear out and about this spring on walks. Took a guess on quality / fit and was right. I'm medium build / weight, 180cm height, and the M size fits well over a shirt + light jumper, not too snug nor too loose. Good quality construction- soft and comfy, no loose threads etc. The navy blue is a good, genuinely dark navy so looks very smart. Time will tell on its durability, but at £43 this looks / feels above its price point compared to big brands. One thing I'd note is that it isn't very long - goes to my waist only. That's what I personally wanted, but if you are looking for a longer fit esp say when cycling, I'm not sure this would suit.

Waterproof but not warm
Great jacket that I have used many times and it has kept me dry in torrential rain. Only problem with it is that it doesn't keep me warm meaning I need to wear a fleece underneath it in cold / windy conditions. Plenty of pocket space and it is really practical.
