Takes some getting used to as far as writing with it. It feels and writes very different than a ball point pen. If you don't hold it the right way it scratches across the paper, which I don't mind. But the scratching can interrupt the flow of ink until you get used to how you want to hold it. Fountain pens are different from ball point pens in that you can't just pick them up and start writing with one and expect it to be the same every time. You have to develop a relationship with fountain pens and the paper you write on with them. Easy to use. Easy to refill with ink. The nib and cap are good quality brass and good looking. The wood is smooth and comfortable while writing. 10/10 would recommend. Nice affordable gift for anyone who loves pens and loves writing. If you have a way to engrave or burn the wood to make it personalized, you could probably even do that with this pen.

Beautiful pen with good flow and smooth writing. I would have likes to have a couple of other tips for it, but the one with it is fine. I also received 10 ink carts with it. For the little I use it, they will last me a LONG time.

Reasonably priced Ink pen for those who like writing with special materials

The balance is slightly different, as the wood is so light. All my older pens were all metal. But the nib has a perfect feel on the paper as I write. It has the smoothest flow on paper, and is a joy to use. Would definitely order from this company again. My grip will soon adjust to the slightly different balance. Thank you for your craftsmanship.

Love the real wood, writes really well. It did leak a bit after first use, not sure if I should have stored differently to prevent this issue. Considering repurchasing as a gift.

Love this pen but after a year of use I needed to replace the nib just to font the manufacturer glued the black channel into the brass section so I can’t replace it. Now I can’t use the pen and will have to buy another one.

I bought this pen in early 2024. I've been using it off and on for that entire period. I am a truck driver and prefer pens with clips, and this pen doesn't have one of those, unfortunately. However, with that said, I LOVE how this pen writes. I have a few TWSBI Eco's and a TWSBI Vac700r and this is my preferred writer. I love the ink capacity of the TWSBI's, but I can use this pen for a prolonged period of time and still enjoy writing. It claims this pen is a "fine" nib, but it writes more like a medium nib. It's juicy and lays down a solid line, as long as you don't turn the pen in a way that the nib isn't making solid connection to the paper. This was one of my first fountain pens. This is one of my favorite fountain pens to date. Great value. The tapered wood feels nice in the hand. The brass cap and grip section has what I can call micro-texture that gives solid grip for those prolonged writing sessions. All in all, it's a lovely pen and it's one I keep comparing the fancier, name branded pens too. EDIT: Literally the day I wrote this review, the pen quit working. The ink wouldn’t flow using the included converter and I don’t like using plain bore or black inks. I had it inked with a green ink, but it wouldn’t flow unless I manipulated the converter itself. For that reason, I’m taking this from the previous 5 star review down to a one…
