As with a lot of supplements advertised online, it is important to check what you are buying, the dosage and if the manufacturer is adding other ingredients or vitamins etc, so you can make comparisons.When you are on Amazon, you can see the price of the overall item and then often a unit price, this will tell you what each capsule / tablet is costing to consume.The soft gel capsules arrived in a bottle that was sealed and in perfect condition, a striking colour scheme making it easy to see the "directions of use" and the Ingredients list.Each capsule containsFish Oil 1000mgEPA 180mgDHA 120mgOmega 3 350mgRecommendation is to take 1 capsule a day with food and water, which i do in a morning anyway as part of a regular supplement routine.Our family as a whole tries to take in Omega 3 from food sources such as Salmon, but you cannot overlook how much easier it is to have it ready made in easy to swallow form and no worries about food intolerances etc.This item has a bovine casing so it is certainly not a Vegan option unfortunately, otherwise very happy, no issues.Will continue to use.

Furious at myself for not checking the detail on the ingredients/label.Firstly, the beneficial elements of fish oil which are EPA & DHA are way too low to have any positive effects! These levels need to be >50%Secondly, imagine producing/selling a product that's aimed at reducing inflammation and promoting good all round health including joint, brain and, cardiovascular health then using SUNFLOWER oil as a carrier oil?? Sunflower oil is a rancid and inflammatory seed oil and has negative effects on the whole body!!! Amazon should strike this product off their inventory due to it being so counterintuitive and misleading...

I have tried an awful lot of Omega-3 supplements over the years. This one from Black Cat Bio is okay, but not one of the best all-round options I have tried.The key things to look for with regard to the Omega-3 supplements are the levels of EPA and DHA that they contain. Many products seems to represent good value at first glance, but don't actually deliver the level of potential health benefits that you think they might. Ideally, you should be looking for Omega-3 supplements that deliver a daily combined dose of around 1000mg of EPA and DHA .The suggested daily intake of this supplement is just 1 capsule, which would deliver 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA, so a combined total of 300mg, which is on the low side. To get the 1000mg dosage you would actually need to take 4 of these capsules per day rather than the suggested one capsule.Consequently, the cost of this product does not stack up particularly well. The jar contains 90 capsules, so taking 4 capsules per day at the current cost of £9.99 equates to a daily cost of about 44p. I have tried and reviewed other very good products on here that also deliver a combined dose of EPA & DHA of 1000mg or more, but that do so with a daily cost of less than half that amount.So, although this is a perfectly good product, it isn't going to persuade me to move away from my current favourite.I hope you find these comments helpful.

She didn't say to take these exact capsules of course, but she did say I should take omega 3 oil to help my health. Can't say for sure that there is any real difference, but then with supplements I honestly feel its a mind over matter thing. If you think they will work then they just might, otherwise they don't do squat.The taste isn't to bad as long as you swallow them quick, do NOT leave them on your tongue for to long though otherwise it takes ages to swill the taste from your mouth.
