This rice back taste is excellent, and this red rice has terrific health benefits. Their packing is airtight seal packing, and it looks solid form. After opening it, it goes back to the regular rice bag. I had never seen it before and complained to Amazon customer service for a refund. They usually provide first-class customer service and immediately offer a refund for my purchase. I recommended this great product to others.Thank you.

If I would have read the reviews, I would not have purchased this product.The rice has a nauseating, moldy smell upon opening the package that my senses interpreted as toxic. The smell began to permeate the room and I had to seal it up and get it of the house! l then looked up the some reviewers suggestion of molds associated with improper harvesting and packaging of this product. The results of inhaling or ingesting moldy, improperly handled red rice can be very serious. Although I had only my senses and intelligence to go on, I chose to NOT subject me or my family to this product that offended my senses and sensibility. I don't know if it's this company or the product, but I'm out $30 and may have narrowly avoided a possible hellish medical episode.

We will keep this red rice “in stock” as it is so good and healthy. Highly recommend. Appreciate that it comes vacuum-sealed and that it’s organic. Great product at a reasonable price!

I have never eaten red rice before. I had to reinvent some of my old recipes to use this rice, and I tried new recipes I thought may be worth it, and sure enough the flavor was great with a slight tough texture. It's earthy and aromatic. My doctor never specified ways to help with my high cholesterol; so after my own research, red rice is a perfect addition to my diet that will allow me to keep eating what I like with healthy benefits.
